Devs have said they are working on improving the explosions, with building explosions somewhat taking after solar panels blowing up in TA. From that I'd guess we'll get bits of the buildings and its debris blowing out. Really looking forward to their take on it as spinning debris in TA looked very cool. I don't know if improved explosions for units will come at the same time. I kind of expect them when they start allowing for unit metal reclamation (instead of dissolving).

Wasn't there a report last week about the Chinese government saying they wanted the Chinese companies to put even more surveillance capabilities in software for phones and PCs. If you looked into it you'd be surprised (or perhaps not) how many Chinese companies are ultimately owned or controlled by the Chinese government. Often through several layers of company or organisational body ownership, until you get to the source. Even newer independent one's can't do anything if the

Looks good, happy about the brute and T1 changes. Certain Units not being effective against buildings is an improvement...but this really needs to be told to the average player through the UI or something as it will be confusing to a lot of people. I've also heard the Destructor (in case i got the name wrong I mean the Substrate anti-building cruiser)is not effective enough against fortified positions. Not so important when the mauler can do it all but now it may need to be

That is not a bad CPU, it might bottle neck things a bit for 2x1080s but losing 10-20 FPS in mGPU mode seems a lot, but who knows, with 2x1080s a huge amount of stuff going on. How is your RAM configured? It seems to make a really big difference in this game. Do you have 2 sticks but 4 RAM slots? If I am remembering correctly to take advantage of dual channel in that kind of configuration the cards should not be side by side, but in slots 1 and 3 or 2 and 4. Check with your MB m

What are your CPU and RAM? Running in mGPU needs 16GB of RAM and it is also more demanding on the CPU. So perhaps with a less than high end CPU performance could be worse? Just speculation.

I wish they made it so fighters can shoot them down. People put them in places I can't reach with an Apollo but still gives them some useful vision and there is nothing I can do about it. Sometimes when killing the drone the units will stop firing after a time so I assume it is dead and not giving any intel, but the drone is still physically there, so I'd say that is a bug. Tbh I think they are a little too hard to see. They do give off a radar signal but if they are i

I think Devs can program a game with an SLI/CF profile in mind but it is the driver maker who makes it happen. I've heard that Nvidia lists Ashes as having a DX11 SLI profile but I don't know if it actually works. I hope Vulcan comes sooner rather than later too, it will be interesting to see what it brings to the table.

If I am understanding correctly two possibilities come to mind. 1) Logistics. Did you have enough logistics to support the building of a dreadnought? 2) Radioactives. If you lost access to radioactives it would also not build.

I've noticed this too with the scores, its odd. I wish the scoring system was made more transparent. It also doesn't help that it is bugged with some people getting scores far far lower (so it is obvious that it is a bug) than they normally should.
3.5 I heard with 512 reserved for smaller faster operations.
I've not heard that twist on it :) the 512mb is much slower RAM and tests show that if a game uses it it does hurt overall performance. Still an excellent card for 1080p, it is what I use too. If I bought a mid range card now I'd probably get the non reference versions of the RX 480, I expect them to get 390x/980 performance with partner cards. The

You don't need the DLC to play the DLC maps in ranked matches, this has been stated many times. Of course the DLC maps come up less often, there are a lot less of them in the ranked pool than there are of the original maps. The case where one can own the DLC and others can join who don't own it is for custom games. I don't have a problem with some small fast maps as it mixes things up but I have to agree the maps on the larger side are more interesti

I am sensitive to monitors, I can't stand shiny screens so need a good anti-glare layer. I also have to have brightness and contrast down very low, especially on white or pale backgrounds. I can normally put them up OK in games as they are darker and denser in colour. Some monitors seem worse than others. There are monitors out there which do get rid of the flicker and have low blue light etc. BenQ have quite a few like that so perhaps worth investigating, I certainly will w
My biggest problem with TA was the lack of an end game.
Well, there were nukes and the Core had the Krogoth, a very big and cool looking tough unit, kinda like a SupCom experimental.

I agree with OP and DasUnding. T1 PHC at least got nerfed too hard, less familiar with Sub situation.

Good to see the user base grow. Hopefully the affordable RX 480 and 470 will get a lot more 4Gb and 8GB (VRAM) GPUs in to people's hands. That could increase the user base and certainly should increase some people's experience with the game. With the 1060 also likely to come with at least 4GB of VRAM (rumour is 6GB) and of course high end 1080s and 1070s having 8GB, hopefully that starts to give you more room to do things in the game as it continues to develop. I agree with OP. At the beginning of the game you can tell if they have gone air and later you can normally know when they have got Dreadnoughts from the numbers. But sometimes the numbers do seem out of wack with reality and much of how it is made up it still opaque. It is bugged too with sometimes giving a tiny number when it shouldn't. For skirmish games vs AI there should be an option to keep it as lots of more casual players just play that mode and I imagine they like seeing
