In the mean time I would google, api-ms-win-core-rtlsupport-l1-2-0.dll is missing. Seems it is a pretty common problem not linked to Ashes per say. Hopefully a solution can be found within.

How is it if you don't play the tutorial? Does it still crash then? I would suggest trying the first campaign as that breaks you into the game very gently if I remember correctly. Sounds like you might have read it but just in case you haven't here is the official trouble shooting guide: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/530/175/general-ashes-of-the-singularity-troubleshooting
That is a terrible source of information to use, that is version .7, so still early in Early Access, getting on for 18 months ago. Here is an up-to-date video looking at Ashes CPU useage under Ryzen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZLfJcHEMog And it has been using them all for a long time.
As mentioned above, the great thing about PC gaming is pretty frequent sales.
You can increase the speed up to x8 or cut it by half, but I couldn't find a way to jump around the replay along the sliding bar. I may have missed it but it really needs it if it is not there.
Another note, would be great to have a history of score summaries - e.g. recent games - Dota 2 has a good implementation of this sort of thing with stats, performance etc.
That already exists actually: https://www.ashesofthesingularity.com/metaverse#/personas/00207181-5c7a-472c-baab-8e4ae6fad1a7?graphTab=faction&graphType=single If you click on match history and click on a match it tells you a bunch of
Agreed. I'm not sure what the best solution is yet but Orbital jamming could do with a bit of a rework. As for Nano-Mesh armor, it causes a number of other issues and I'm planning on reworking it so it's less exploitative. But then again, heavy anti-air such as Air Eliminator and Sky Ender would make short work of scouts with Nano-Mesh armor, low tier anti-air don't scale so well.
Glad
To talk to team mates you have to hit Enter then press Tab to switch between team mates and everyone. It has been that way a long time so they really should update their Control screen.
Thanks for the recent addition of the replay ability, it's good. Looking forward to the future updates. Please consider adding the ability to stay on to watch the game after you have been killed. Though perhaps make it so chat between dead players cannot be seen by those still playing so spoilers can't be dropped. Really looking forward to Steam Workshop. No ETA on 2.3 but I guess that that depends too much on when GCIII Crusader drops. Thanks for the update.</
Just played my first big MP game in a while. Was fun but two areas need to be looked at I think, especially 1 of them. First/Main issue: A big battle can and is often won or lost on who uses the orbitally launched orbital nullifier ability first. It got dropped on me and then I get hit by Kill (don't know new name) and Detonate and what have you and there is nothing I can do about it. I had several mobile nullifiers but they get killed or aren't in the right place. I just find this so

What do you mean?
GoG and Steam's networks are different so the Steam players and GoG players to not play one another. I dunno how you are able to do it, unless you are just playing among the gog players, of which there aren't many, which might be part of the problem? Unless we are all playing together now regardless of platform, but I'd be very surprised if that were the case going by what the devs said before.
Yeah, they have moved the bomber behind that building in the most recent patch. Guess they forgot to check campaign impact. Surprised they couldn't have left campaign balance alone while still changing skirmish and MP balance. Starcraft certainly was able to do that.
Someone had this problem on the Steam forums too so I took a look, I'll just copy paste here: huh, I gave this a try for you and failed the first time too. If you wait for all the dialogue to finish at normal speed your Nexus will be destroyed. Got it on the 2nd try though :) You have to spam click on the dialogue so it skips through at a faster pace. Than grab the Promethius and attack asap. He will reach the enemy Dread and the first or 2nd salvo will force the that dread to
650W should be enough for that system. Though it is not always just about the max Watts with PSUs. Bad RAM can certainly cause BSOD, not sure about a hard shutdown. Ashes is great at pushing hardware hard to get the best out of it, but it does mean some overclocked systems which are fine in other games can crash too, though again, not sure about a hard shutdown. So if you have overclocks you could try without and if you are getting new RAM anyway you'll know then t
I'm not sure the node thing is working as you say, because I usually attack to nodes with the blue line. I'll monitor more closely.
Yeah, me too. When it was first implemented I definitely noted it as it had been a pain before and it worked nicely for me, but that was a patch or two back at this point so it is possible it broke in the meantime. If I am attacking a base/built up area then if ne
Just two things which may be relevant to a couple of your points: Attack move should make the units attack anything on the way. (This should include buildings I think, so if it didn't that is a bug) If you right click on a node and the blue line appears the units will ignore other creeps and just go after the creeps on that node instead of getting distracted by nearby creeps (can happen if close together). This came in a previous patch and did work at the time. I h
Did you tick the box in the video options to allow 3rd party programs to do their thing? (forget the proper wording).
Lux can you stop calling people fanboys, you have been doing so for months it seems when you come across as a huge Substrate fanboy yourself, so the irony is just too strong to bear. It is natural for a person to prefer one side over another, but people being so partisan is just off putting and can bring into questions people's sound judgement when discussing balance. Good balance is win win for everyone as it makes the games better so the debates are good, but best for everyone t
The only advantage harvester has is being mobile so you can juggle metal vs. rads as needed. You can only build one at a time and at the cost of not being able to produce a worker whereas PHC can build multiple refineries simultaneously plus can call down a worker with quanta as needed. Refinery gives more resources than harvester. Additionally, refineries contribute to the global 10% eco boost a captured Turinium generator gives whereas Har
Are you talking about the 6-core maps which briefly turned up for some people but were greyed out? Those were never meant to be released, well, certainly not yet at any rate, so they went and are not available to anyone. The benchmark is kind of simple compared to a vast map with loads of AI, I expect it benefits more from the 6700k's higher frequency over the 6900k's extra cores. I think in a big game the 6900k will do better, though to be honest I think you'd be fairly h
Agreed that nullifier ability should block all orbitals within it, suggested the same thing myself some time back. In a 3v3 I played one of the other team dropped the blocker then at least 2 of them were chucking all these orbitals in there which I could do nothing about. It's too powerful like that. I really don't like the fact that it also blocks off a nuke attack which has already been initiated. Again it is if you are fast enough to do it, which is not what this game is ab
