Yes refineries stack. Best to put them on nodes which have more resource points, including HQ. I think the 20% is already sufficient. It is amasing how just a few of them start to change your eco. In base game Radioactive balance is OK, can't speak for the expansion.
Well, isnt there a way to actually unite GoG and steam players?
Steam and GOG would have to come to an agreement as it is done on their servers. It has happened with some games across the networks though so perhaps it will happen one day.
I've not come across any defences that can't simply be destroyed with a cronus from a far as long as you follow it with radar buildings, kill the orbital nullify and drop a nuke, all there base defence investment gone in 10 secs. if you opt early to build that many static defences you'll ultimately be sacrificing resources and in ashes who ever has the most resources can out build a turtle. Once you get a stack of Cronus you can walk through most defences
Not sure what game you have been playing where base defences are op haha base defences in ashes where weak and needed buffing big Time.
I play a lot of 2v2 or 3v3 custom games. When you get people of a similar level (and who are decent players too) it often comes down to people setting up choke points fairly early. Then the other side has to do the same. These choke point defences get ever bigger and tougher until p

Some of the things you list are not in the remit of this expansion (Naval,3rd faction). But:
Dreadnoughts seem weak now the new defensive turrets exist. TOO easy to turtle. Totally spoils the point of them IMO
This has been a big worry of mine. Defences are already pretty strong and the expansion seems to add a lot more. Unless units or upgrades are changed up then defences could easily become OP.
Too many re
A guide is a good idea but people have to be bothered reading them. Most people would just jump straight into a game and learn for themselves and if they cant figure they just quit. I wish someone could make a list of all the dreadnought upgrades tree, The wiki doesnt list it.
Check out the " Dreadnoughts Are Us" guide in the game's Guides section of Community Hub. It has all the Dread upgrades listed in there.<

But I know what you mean. I swear when I am playing other humans that their fighters hit what they wan

Are you putting aircraft into an Army meta unit? Because yeah apparently they won't do much then. I don't know first hand as I don't put air with ground forces into an Army. They get too easily shot down for potentially no gain if you do that. I put them into their own Ctrl groups and call them in when I want to, seems to work well. Though sometimes they don't really focus fire on the unit you want, especially fighters anyway.

They also sometimes play non-ranked 1v1 with each other, testing things, so it seems a good

If you have the option ticked the game does have 3 autosaves, for the last 3 minutes of gameplay. If you've not played any other sp games since then you should be able to jump back to the end of that mission again, if you want to. I think it has happened to others too.

I would have thought the more play testers the better for everyone. Is there anything the play testers should know?
I really like the idea of a research tree. It's something we have, extensively, considered. We have been worried that the pacing of Ashes is too fast for people to be comfortable with a tedch tree.
The tech tree approach in SupCom2 was almost universally disliked. I think you can flesh out he current upgrades and add a fair amount of depth that way.
Just a simple question that ive been asking not long time ago, are there plans for ashes to come up with some kind of "pve" game mode, like starcrafts allied commanders? I actually think that RTS genre need to change quality vise. I do think that there are a lot of casual players that actually like to play some sort of allied commander game mode, then actually going for pvp game.
We are talking to Valve as to whether it'll be possible to turn Escalation into DLC so that it eliminates any confusion and we develop a game launcher that lets you pick the base game or Escalation. We prefer being able to use the Steam client as the launcher but given the backlast against expandalones, we're willing to spend the time and budget on writing our own launcher if that makes people happy. Steam "Mixed" review is given to games below 70%...all the way down to less than 50%?! Mixed is already very harsh if you have over 60% but less than 70%. I'll always have 70% in my head as if you got that in a masters it was considered excellent, 60%-70% good, and 50%-60% pass. So Mixed for 68% or whatever Ashes has seems pretty harsh, especially if a game with 50% gets the same label. Addendum: Found this chart, not sure if it is still accurate but no reason to doubt it from gam

Yeah, as I want to see the game do well for continued support I worry about the whole standalone thing. Potentially too many people with thoughtless knee jerk reaction...sadly hardly a rare thing on the internet. And I do remember the gaming scene in the 90s and 00s. Having such a vast choice of games now, from so many new ones every year, to the ever growing back catalogue...such a tough industry to stand out in. Don't forget the iffy main stream media and the foibles of the neti
