Bit more feedback. - If you double click to select a bunch of turrets and then click the upgrade in the hope they all upgrade at once they don't. Only one of them will. - The skull which you can double click to kill a unit or building is missing. - Textures on Athena look worse than the other units. - The red Ashes screen you see right at the end of the intro video is cool. Might be nice to see that elsewhere too as you'll only see the once otherwise re

Seems the CareGiver does unleash a web of lines to recharge shields, didn't see that before. You might want to differentiate the colour a bit more from the beams of the capacitor.
The harbinger the new big Sub bomber? I haven't looked at numbers so I can't comment on your findings, but I do think it needs to have some kind of visual shot for when it fires. At the moment you get some red marks on what you hit but that is it. A little underwhelming. It needs a big fat pulse or something :)
Yeah, you can form an army with them. Select units and hit V to form army and B to break/disband the army. There are also 2 buttons on the ui to do this with the mouse too. If you have engineers working together they also sometimes automatically form an "army" so to speak, use B again to break that if you want/need to.
Preview build had some odd behaviour by the Substrate Care Giver unit. It was going round and round in a small circle. Was odd till i realised there were air units around it and it was kind of trying to track them I think. I moved it a bit further away and it sort of went up and down a bit, going up to try and get to the still fairly close passes of the fighters. I think the unit needs a graphic which gives some idea of its range. The blue light is fine but it if went o
Thats why i replied here. So, we get a PM from frogboy? Not sure on the process. Nothing in first post, other than make a reply post here. Edit, i replied here after i made the initial post, this thread was farther down the page.
? Just read the thread, Frogboy says how to do it. It is in one of the replies, on the first page I believe.
Count me in please!
I saw your other post, you can find the answer about how to try the Beta on the first page of this thread.
Anyone finding performance on the first mission in single player is pretty poor compared to even the benchmark? Hoping there's some optimisation to be done yet. Most escalation players will be trying that for the first time.
Certainly on the low side for me too. Though skirmish games on Crystal maps all seem to suffer from it too. I guess it is a more demanding biome?
@Ticktoc - I never noticed that he had atmosphere disabled. Was.t that for the first game? The second game didn't he have atmosphere enabled? I honestly can't remember to be honest.
In the first big game they were disabled and he kept saying he couldn't build air...but the AI didn't seem to have problems building air.
Thanks for the great work! Do you have any Youtube developer gameplay videos of Escalation for us to watch? Not seeing any after a quick Youtube search.
Find Stardocks Twitch channel, they have a video there.
Atmosphere: Turn off to disable air units.
In your twitch stream you had this turned off but the AI were still building air units. A bug it would seem.
New patch dropped today, I like the changes you mention above and also the changed crystal terrain is definitely more readable than before so +1 there too. ASAD mentioned it before but I am still sometimes seeing units getting shot by something they can hit and they are not turning and shooting. No reaction what so ever. We definitely need some indicator that a unit, most likely T3, has recieved that nano armour, because the AI ally likes to give it to you but i
Seems more like you are Spamming your YouTube site here on Wincustomize. --Ace---
Wincustomize? From what I see it is in Stardocks, Everything Else --> General forum. I don't think he will get what he wants from here. However, people here seem to have slated him a bit, but actually on the flip side he is putting himself out there and being proactive in an area of his interest, mo
(This was a double post but there was one other thing I forget to mention so might as well use this) I turn off the icons which go over the units in the middle map, much prefer just seeing the units. However when things are working correcting (I'm assuming) on the first zoom level out to the strategic map I still get to see the more detailed icons of units moving, which is fine, and then if I move another notch I just get the simplified dots, which is fine again. I zoom out with m
I have yet to try it but those new patch notes certainly deal with the Emergency turret very well. Improvements to the Smarty are welcome too, though obviously having them much weaker than in base Ashes is part of a balance reshuffle I suppose. I haven't looked at Substrate in the same depth so I don't know if their initial point defences have been weakened or not, though I guess they were less tough than PHC to begin with in base Ashes. Nice to see drone swarm go up in price
There are some problems with the game as it now stands, imo, I'll tackle two here after play the PHC with this latest patch: 1) Smarty/Barrager/Srtillary Post You have now made the Smarty essentially useless, it has only 3dps and 200 health with tiny bit of armour. On its own it is almost useless and is now merely a platform for upgrades. Yes it is cheap and quick to build but that is not the point. If you want to put down a quick smarty defence of a couple of smarties on
Thank you very much for taking the time to respond to my feedback, it's really appreciated. "- Would be very useful if you could tell how many metal/rad spots there are on a node when zoomed out in strategic view." You are supposed to. They are supposed to become iconized with them filled or empty based on whether there’s an extractor on it. Will check. Looking at the most recent screen shots that you
The ability to share things, including regions, is meant to be coming with Escalation I believe, fingers crossed.
If the lights refract then the fog effect should be pretty cool around a battle.
Thank you very much for this. Respones and what wer're doing to address this next up.
Looking at the most recent pictures it looks like you have now put 2 PHC defence buildings as upgrade options for a more basic one. I guess this is one way you are changing the progression. Leaves more room for other buildings later too I guess. Edit: Also looks like you have put the 3 new units behind a gate too as the
I was kindly given access to the Beta recently so here is my feedback after around 9 hours of game play. As it seems an older build a bunch of it may be irrelevant but here you go: Game options and UI - Skirmish Map options should show what they mean/configure when you mouse over th
If they are true to recent form they will have a Founders program, lifetime or basic, which will give people access to Alpha and Beta.
Quoting Ticktoc, reply 11 Steam and GOG would have to come to an agreement as it is done on their servers. It has happened with some games across the networks though so perhaps it will happen one day. Ah, my bad, i though that we actually play on s
