Terran Alliance are ranked well over 500 civ points, well above me (200 something) and astronomically higher than the Burran (14). Yet I keep getting messages from the TA saying "The Burran are dangerous [lol] - please take them out for us". Really? The Burran are 14. Fourteen. Why do they keep begging me, a much weaker civ than them, to do their dirty work for them? Killing the Burran should be like child's play for them. Or is there a bug stopping them invading t

Personally, I think that if the devs deal with the issues with 0.90 that were are all reporting in the forums RIGHT NOW, then the game will probably be in an acceptable state come 2 weeks from now. 2 weeks is still time to get a bunch of changes made. :)
133 turns in and where are all the ships? Hardly anyone has built shipyards so far, they are so costly (in time terms) to build. The civs are mainly still using the ships they began the game with. In 0.83 my galaxy was teeming with ships by now! One thing's for sure, the new shipyard build times have slowed the pace of the game (if you're aiming for military conquest and expansion) right down. Oh yeah: 133 turns and still no UP meeting... = issue?
to the OP: you should PM SD about this exploit.
Vielen Dank für Ihre Mühe!
Thought I would report these, even if they are small fry. Note the unncessary use of capitalisation, and the planet list icon glitch. Also the blue shield (in the planet list) where there should be a green one. And the text formatting glitch. If you can't spot the issues with these, just send me a PM :) Thanks! <img src="%20%20http://www.pic
I think having a filterable list of discovered but unowned planets - as we had in GC2 - is essential. And I agree about having filterable lists for the other stuff, too.
Bumping this as others agreed these are good additions.
I wonder alot about this, too. Can someone make a case for specialization on a planet (e.g. all factories, all research, all influence), because right now I build balanced planets with a bit of everything on them.
I'm using a brand new game started after installing opt-in Beta 6 and restarting my PC and Steam after doing the install of the beta.
Yup, have been reporting this since 5.3
I can definitely relate to this--my process is identical when handling idle shipyards, so it would indeed be very helpful to know exactly where a shipyard is located.
THIS. It would also be nice to have a mini-map view when you are abruptly whisked off to a planet somewhere within your vast empire in order to build improvements ("idle colony")
Agreed.
0.90 is the latest version...
You've added numbers to the diplomatics aspects! I asked for this some time ago - thank you. The numbers still don't make sense though: (5) for +3 and (-8) for -3??
On loading a saved game, every one of my planets/shipyards/starbases has a green shield over it, yet I have NO ships orbiting these things (I saw this bug in 5.3 too) This is due to the fortification ability that has every planet/starbase defended... Not a bug working as designed.
Thanks. But they only appeared after I loaded a saved g
