How about a "boarding torpedo?" It's just like an antimatter missile, but packed with marines instead of a warhead. When it hits an enemy ship there is a percentage chance (modified by ship size and the ownwer's tech) of capturing the ship.

Thanks, Frogboy. Again, I'm amazed at how quickly you guys jump on these things. At the risk of sounding like a parrot, "Keep up the great work!" LOL

TNTTony hit the nail right on the head with that letter. I'll only add that I've paid $50 to $60 for games and have gotten only one update/patch ever and sometimes none at all. My experience with setting up stardock was the same as #46 (bonscott). I just read the FAQ instructions. If anything, it took me less than 5 minutes. I've had absolutely no trouble at all using it, and updates have always been right there on the list. Incremental updates mean I don't have to wait forever to download a patch and when I do download, it only takes a minute or so. Just my 1.89 cents (inflation!)

In reading this thread I have noticed several people have been crashing to desktop when the UP convenes for the first time. I had this problem as well, but found that it was the labor unrest mod I had downloaded that was causing the problem. When I deleted this file, the problem was solved. I know this isn't a bug report post, but enough people seem to have this problem that I thought this might help.
