Collector's Edition content on download page in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I see on the download page there's content for the CE and was wondering if I downloaded and installed it (since my game ia lready fully updated via Stardock) will that mess my game up? It seems a few things listed there are already in my game such as full screen tutorial support... but not sure about the rest. https://www.galciv2.com/CollectorsEdition/ Thanks for the help!

Wow, that all looks wonderful! I would like one tiny option. I like to have my ship designs loaded with aeverything on them so I can change out the weapons and such one by one. I guess that was switched in the last patch.... but maybe we could have an option as to wether custom ships we bring up to edit/upgrade as "fully loaded", or as it is now. Maybe it could be selectable in game options or on the main ship building screen. Overall, it looks gr

Wow, all I can say is you guys rock, and I suck. All I've accomplished is putting bobble lights on my ships. I think I'm going to try to make the ugliest ships ever. Ones that are so hideous y opponents will cry with despair.

A few things I'd like to see. 1. In the Metaverse - I think it'd be nice to see the top 20 instead of just the top 10. 2. In the Metaverse - I think it'd be really neat if when you clicked on a the occupied terriitroy map, it would have a pop-up with a random individual from the representative Empire. I think thatd would add a lot of character to the whole Metaverse Map and would be fun to just sit there clicking around to see wh

I like both Galc Civ 2 and Star Wars EAW. They're differnet and have their own long-term promise. I KNOW Stardock is committed to continuing their excellent series and they do listen to the players. I also know Petroglpyh is listening and reading all the posts in the petroden. It's a little tough for them I think (being their first game) have moustrous expectations, and putting out 3 games in 1... but I HAVE NO DOUBT whatsoever about thow much they care about the user. How can I mod the visual detail of suns? in Modding GalCiv2 Forums

What I'd like to do (for example) is mod Earth's Sun to have more detail and more rippling effects. Right now it's coloring (to me) seems a little out of balance... too bright yellowish white. I know there 's .png files in the stars directory that can be edited - but are there any other files that add to a sun/star's 3D visual representation besides those? Thanks!
