I was having the same issue, I fixed mine by removing the Fallen Enchantress entries from my firewall which is Comodo. Re-lauched the game and it was fine

I think upgrading outpost is a great idea. Another option would limiting the outpost to 1 upgrade as the connect city levels up: a choice between a defensive upgrade or one that improves the output of the local resource
Lands which have more stone exposed like some areas of the Canadian Shield http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_ShWR57e9BlI/Ss0WmWfWzeI/AAAAAAAAD44/8SvJmg8f6YI/s1600-h/P8213511+copy.jpg http://charlinex.hubpages.com/hub/Dramatic-Rocks-In-Easte
Vote fair The game is shaping up to be great but the strategic AI at least on Challenging seems to lacking situational awareness, it is very signal minded in its goal. What I have seen in two games is the AI choosing a target like a poorly defended city and attacking it over and over. The army which is defending the city(say 3 squares out) is ignored. The AI simply tries to walk past the defending army gets its self destroyed. After the AIs
This program will fit your needs fairly well its free http://www.silo3d.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16966 I use it for 3D modelling. For the map editor you will need to change your video setting to a windowed resolution. I have tested it and it works
The utility MDL SPRITE Editor 1.06 (Dark Rain's utility, if I recall correctly) will dispay all MDLs and contents if there are no errors (a fact); it displays all those original files of the game with NO exceptions. It simply isn't debatable. Simply turn on the tool and look for yourself!!!
that is not entirely true, the program does not have full support for 16bit or 32bit i forget which. I created most of my ships with Mutil 3.3.3 which is why it will crash/distort MDL
just a note. All the graphic corruption issues i was having have been resolved with the new ATI driver release 6.14.10.6458. So anyone else still have these issue and has a ATI card should give it a try.
i know nothing about Stargate, but if you had so picture of some ships, i could see what could be done.
One thig that is irrating for graphics modding is testing what you have created. loading the game loading a test file or what not. So a program that could load mdl file and display their animation, appearance, and alignment would be helpful.
My website has moved you can find it here http://www.neotechgaming.com/grotto/ it is now hosted by neotechgaming (Desert_Fox) Presently the downloads from site are not active, that will change in time as i release more graphics mods. for my released mods you can find them in the many forums download section http://neotechgaming.com/main/modules.php?name=Forums
Mutil is not so much garbage, just hard to use. no copy paste support is my major grip. Other then that it works well.
Are you loading a sperate palatte file into mutil? If you are dont bother, just load your image file and save them. Mutil support 16bit colour depth.mtd?if your making ships or other animated graphics mdl is the normal extention, it likely doent maker though.
Had sometime to give this version a try here is what i have found. the spirit editor will: Encode spirits without a palatte file It displays the import graphic correctly in the editor Save and open spirits created with the editor what i have found that the editor can not do sofar: Will not open spirits encoded with the ship encoder those i created or the original deathknight Spirits encoded at 16 bit display in Mutil corrupted. the graphic is sort of el
I am such a happy modder :CONGRAT: I'll start giving this version a thorough work out this weekend and post anything i find is amiss.
I for one really appreciate the effort.since i lost all of my original flim strips for those ship, i've not been able to edit them outside with Mulit. Anyone that has used that program knows its a bit unruly. So thanks in advance. ~SDC~
Well i for one think a mod switcher is a great idea. If i think of any other mod tool ideas i will post them here.
Updated the star animations and submitted them to the library. as far as i can tell there are no more graphic glitches as mentioned by Dream Warrior. if any one finds one just post it. thanks
Cool gave it a quit try and found there were no problems Thanks for the excellent tools
yeah i know, the only option i have right now. once desert fox gets his site up http://neotechgaming.com/main/modules.php?name=Forums , that will be a far better option i have not test the new additions yet, so if you get time just play through a game with the new ships and make sure all the race have ships, and there the right colours, as far as i know everything shoulg be fine though.
oops [Message Edited]
the ships have been updated you can donwload them from my website.
might help eh http://www.freewebs.com/guildshand/
I took the time to organise my website, theres now a main page. Its still a work in progress though.
modded to the hilt
