Madmaz, Seriously, watch what you call flaky tech support. >:( These guys have done nothing but listen and improve this game since I've been here, and it's only been 2 weeks since I had it. Their giving away a free expansion pack in june, and frogboy is answering questions on a sunday, let alone Easter sunday. If you disagree with the choice, that's fine.I would personnally like them to focus their efforts on improving the game even more. But this is the farthest thing I've seen from

Hi, Just something I noticed, sice the latest patch, I seem to crash to desktop a lot more. Before the latest patch, It was just when I would try to submit my metaverse score or a occaisonal hang up. Now, It happens more often and more random Anyone else experiencing this? Thank ~SDC~

the ai builds starbases now, althought they don't upgrade them that often. The altarians are still back-stabbing faggots >:( Overall, a good patch. Ai still doesn't trade very fairly. When they come to me for something, I'll be lucky to get 2 techs, a good one and a crappy one. When I go to them, I am lucky if I have to trade less then 4. One of them is always of equal or greater value than the one I'm trying to get. Sometimes 2 of them are good techs. I have no problem with the ai milking me f

I followed moo3 from almost the very beginning, about 3 years. Here's what I learned from that: 1. Never buy anything from quicksilver 2. It is possible to waste 4 years of development time playing minesweeper. 3. Customer service goes a long way. Quicksilver gets a -20 in this department. They were just plain d*cks, putting down any criticism of the game or it's designers instead of listening and maybe changing it. Both of which were deserved in my opinion. S

Hi, I was just wondering, what is the point of the election right before going to war? It's a really cool idea, and I like it. But it doesn't seem to have any affect right now. If my proposal to go to war is rejected, I just attack again until it passes. Granted I have not progressed past beginner (damn sub-normal ai >:( ) but I have played quite a few games. Anyway my suggestion is to allow one go to war vote per month or so. Thoughts? ~SDC~

That makes sense. I had a ton of ships to keep everyone at bay. The alliance thing is really starting to tick me off tho. They never seem to backstab eachother, and My allies never come into a war with me. Ah well, Time to go play me vs the galaxy again :) ~SDC~

Ok, well I lost again. This time because of alliance crap. This is the second game in a row that this happened. Long story short, I was at war with the yor. The arceans allied with the yor against me. This brought the torians into the war. So I was fighting three races. No big deal I guess. I tried to ally with the last race, the altarians. They were close to me so they allied right up. Two turns go by, and I get a message from the altarians saying that their at war with me because they just all

The Altarians were kicking everyones ass. The arceans declared war on me because of that disgruntled worker event. So I held my own and researched alliance. Thinking if I could unite a couple races and fight off the altarians, I allied with the yor and the torians. I gave the alliacne tech as a gift and resumed to try and finish off the alcarians who had one world left. My "allies" who I also gave them battleship and corvette tech did not declare war. Instead they made an alliance with the arcea

Ok, In my latest game I put up a better fight, but as soon as I got battleships I got my ass kicked. It was all sub-normal, medium galaxy First, I went to war with the drengins. I was kicking their ass across the galaxy when the altarians decided to try and take advantage. After my 2 ships on that front beat back abotu 5 attacking altarian ships, I shifted some forces over and began an offensive on the altarians. I took 2 of their worlds. Meanwhile, the drengins were still getting beate

like, When the ai comes to you and says I will give you universal translator for energy channeling. You should be able to add tech's to the list. Currently all I can do is accept or reject ( I rejected obviously). Maybe in these cases they can program it so we have a (slight) diplomatic advantage in these cases so we can get off with a favorable deal for the player. I apologize if I'm not explaining this properly.

Although i haven't played the game for more than a week, some of these changes osund really interesting. I might be able to mount some kind of defense :D. While I would like to see this soon, there are other things that the developers need to focus on right now. I think some people are still having CTD's and such. It would be nice to see if a developer saw this thread tho, and what they think of it.

Ok, I read a interesting thread yesterday about how the AI won't accept a deal unless it's beneficial to them. I like the idea and it makes things challenging, But I want to be able to do the same thing. When the AI initiates a trade, can you give us the ability to add techs so we make a favorable deal for us? I mean, they started the trade, so obviously they want the tech. We should be able to milk them for it just like they milk us for it. Just an idea
