In regards to conducting espionage i would agree with Dooku...there is nothing more irritating than getting that damn "You fucked up their latest visit and now they are pissed" when you have spend some much energi on keeping good relations with someone. oooh...the Spymaster is not using his most excellent talent with in the game what a pitty (:(

I'm not sure this is it, but what i have seen (especially with the Drengin) is that when i conduct espionage on the AI and it reaches Advanced, and event will occur every once in a while in which I am "given" a tech from the AI.

Glad to hear that you are on your way to kicking ass Like stupot I allways try to keep as much trade as possible with any threatning AI. I produce freighter and keep them close to a secondary AI (be it major or minor) - in this way i can switch fast when it is time for "Alpha strike". Another trick could be to bribe AI's into war (if they have trade with each other). That trade will then be directed to you instead. This of course has to be carried out with caution, because you

Btw: I have noticed something. I tried to look at how the points for the top 4 empires were split on players. What i found was the EU has a much broader base of players than any of the others. I just tryed to see how large a part of the empires total points came from top 100 players: Fotr 65% Jedi 78% EU All 44% MWC 58% In my mind this means that we don't have to trust in the activity of few players, but can rely on the entire base of players to make the

If you click on the Domestic Policy Screen and choose Stats. In the upper corner to the left, should be some stats - if click on society you will be able to see your morality (basics is that a number less than 50 is evil/chaotic evil and larger than 50 good/chaotic good). If you arent Evil and some of your planets turned to the Fundies it sounds like a bug (unless of course they culture flipped).

Hi Andreas, The Fundamentalist event are as far as i recall based upon morality (good - evil) not morale. You can see your own morale on the Domestic policy screen (stats tab) and the AI's on the diplomacy screen (stats tab). The Fundies allways turn against anyone who is evil. Your morality is controlled by your choices on the different events (mostly the colonization events) Since i allmost always play goodie-goodie then i can't really help you on how to deal with th

Hi Jexal, Just want to make sure that you know: The leases/rush buying is more expensive than simply producing whatever you need (and also i believe it drags down your score - not sure though)
