I think Ray once posted it, but can't remember where, but here it goes: 1) Your scores are divided in blocks of 30 days (based on the submittion date) 2) The point are added together and divided by the square root of the numbers of games in that block 3) The number calculated in 2) ages - the value decreases 5% each month (the score in your personale profile and your empire ;) ages 10% ) For you this would mean 1 block of 3 games totaling 18.658 points: 18.658/sqrt(3)1

eradicus...you are a true hero...you actually turned JadawinBurnett totally around. I read the post and was just about to start attacking him, but figured it would just start him off and we would get another flame-war. The way you handled that : Hats of :CONGRAT: Thats what makes this community special

Prefect - your score should have risen just around 1,6K and the 10,7K looks right. Remember that your points are added together and then divided by the square root of the number of games (this is done in 30 day blocks counted backwards from the your last submission). Btw - How about joining an Empire. I know a great one ;) http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=181

It looks both judging from your points and the missing game count as if that last game isn't affecting your profile This could be due to some Metaverse lock up (if the wonderful people at Stardock :CONGRAT: ) are in the releasing 1.12. I would wait a few hours and see if it updates. Btw: I tried calculating your MVscore and got it to around 47K

Hmmm....the problem seems to be trade off between how many points you can get from society, technology, economy and the multiplier. My guess is that you had the upper hand on AI for several years before ending the game (which i guess would lower the multiplier but helped you get more points). Thanks for the input :D

Ginata, I have also been trying to max out a Huge map (not much luck though) - I was just thinking, what are the scores you end up with (my latest game was : Society 7822 Technology 4000 Economy 7182 Military 1943 Total 20947 Mpts 50530 I was wondering what kind of multiplier you have seen (from total to Mpts) Oh and by the way - great to see you back

It isn't unormal that once you get the upper hand on the AI's your influence will grow to the point where the AI starts flipping (thus some people - including myselft - turnoff cultural victory). Your alignment is only affected by your choise on the events that show up (the colonization events and some of the laters one - where you actually have a choice), not but the way you act in any other aspects of the game. The way you win the game affects your score and Military/Conquest

Sirian, I agree with you that the AI could be improved so that i would handle some of the game options better, but still... sometimes it seems that you expect the AI to make all considerations you do and though i don't know that much about how code is written - my guess is that this would take an awfull if's and when's.... I guess what i'm trying to say is that instead of wishing for an AI with the capabilities of a Human maybee we should try to find flaws which can easely be corrected

Oh and by the way - just because i have got the highest score (right now) doesn't mean i'm the best player - i have just played more games lately :D But one of the majors things, which I myself didn't discover untill lately is: I always do whatever i can to get those AI's fighting with each other, this will make them: 1) Slow down their own development 2) Like you more - as it seems that they don't like fighting to many people at the time 3) Give you more trade. They can't

Hi Villalji, Its great to have you on board :CONGRAT: nice to see you have that fighting spirit ;) but to tell you the truth - the most important thing (for me anyway) is that you play the game and enjoy, post the number of games that suits the time you have got and drop by this thread to say hi every time you have got 5 min.
