3) As far as i remember the your scores are divided into blocks of 30 days. For each of those blocks the score is summarized and divided by the squareroot of the number of games in that block. The points in each block "ages" 5% each month 4) To the best of my knowledge there is no direct link between the score summary in the end of the game and your metaverse score. You should join the Canadian Star Federation http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=257 ....you are o

I normally pay attention to who builds diplomatic translators and try to trade for it (eventhough it is most offently wery expensive). I keep one trade route with each of the majors and direct the rest to minors. It might be a coincedence but Caranoids always seems to last longest of minor in my games. A few games back i was preparing an alpha strike against the Arcean their military was about 3-times my own, so Alpha strike was the only. I figured i would take them in 1 turn, so no reason to defend those 8 eight fully developed starbases - doh. I forgot that they have one turn whitout any planets and in that turn they took on of minors planets and destroyed 7 of my starbases. I have something similar just be overlooking one of the AI's planets darn...that out to teach me not

As vincible said, there has been alot of changes to the game since it came out. What i found when i started playing was normal was actually to hard for me, so i played 3-4 games on cakewalk before i really starting getting a grip on the game. Hope you decide to start playing again - its a great game
Interesting question: When I look up my score in the profile popup it is 30882 and the same shows under My Empire. However, when I look myself up in the Metaverse players it shows 31156. Is the profile and empire screen behind?
I think it is because your personal metaverse score only ages 5% each month, but your empire/profile score ages 10%
