You shouldn't feel bad about dropping behind the AI in the beginning you can catch up later. Depending on your starting picks (if you have + diplomacy) you can start the AI's of to war against each other. This will help keep your relations with them good and they will direct their trade towards you instead to each other.

David, I'm not sure if understand the aboe calculations correctly, but... Trade income for each route varies depending on which turn of the 756 the freighter has reached (this can be seen by checking the trade tab on the domestic screen). As i understand how this works the income rises towards the end (should be highest on the 756th turn). This would be when it reaches its starting point again. Therefore if you place those trade SB's just before it reaches the

Report from RL-game (codename Work): Well i'm going for a tech. victory (implementation of ERP-system), but i will probably need to Ally with the other goody-two-shoes Altarians (our US-office) since the are the ones who are supposed to gain the advantages of Beyond Human (ERP). The pressure has been on i have gotten better relations with the Drenging and Yor :CONGRAT: , but there are reports that my allies the I-legaue (also known as consultants) are conduction sabotage and th

I've been going into silent mode and i'm afraid its going to stay that way for another week or so. In my latest real-life game (work) i have run into a run away Drengin and Yor (both Demonic) and with little me being all goody-two-shoes i have to up hours spent on work to keep diplomatic relations above "cool".

This doesn't mean you are doing something wrong. Its just how many bc's you used on rush buying (and treaties ?). Does this have any influence in your metaverse score...hm lots of theories, but i don't think anybody has done any real testing on this.

It sounds like more than it is agreed, but the AI has (on some accounts) been "learned" to act on the human players "aggressions". When you up the difficulty the AI will actually get smarter and does extra actions has been added thru comments from players on these forums. Happy gaming

Well...i had hoped to be able to play less...yeah that was actually my plan, but i have found that is not that easy. I'm to hooked, anyways i'm currently playing gigantic to be able to use other victory conditions than conquest (without hurting my score to much) and this has renewed my interest in the game. Hope everybody is doing well

1) Research: As you up the level the AI will be researching fast so beating it will be hard. I choose the tech i need to achive what vicotry i'm going for (Conquest, Cultural) and then start spending my ressources elsewhere. I other words no 2) You can choose +speed as a starting pick which will give you an advantage to the AI. Furthermore it is possible to see the AI cultural influence in a sector (without exploring it) and thereby figuring out where to rush to. Yes this is a crusial
