WB skins are really the core of this site. The work that it takes to create a great skin has gotten more and more intensive as the years go by. In my view they deserve a dedicated what's new display. I also think that screen shots are very important as an entre into desktop customization and it would be interesting to know how many skinners actually started with screen shots. People get to know the programs and the capabilities of same when they try to emulate a great screen shot set u

As Z71 said..we just had the GUI Championship and there were tons of new WB's and most were at least good to outstanding. I read Z71's remark as the skins were "(all)low quality". Am I wrong in that reading? I support the new program for sure in any case.

I've noticed that as well. Better to start high than to try and move higher later though one would think. But the market will decide as it always does. I have been curious as to what would happen if some great skinner offered his/her work for $2.00 and what reaction that would have on every one else. It will be fun to watch this play out.

It will be interesting to see what prices the master skins will be at as time goes on. What will the market support? Yes, that is the BIG question. Only time will tell.

I know that it is still a WIP, but I really hope that the comments notification feature of the My Skins page will be able to function again. It is difficult to have to check each skin if one wants to respond to questions or comments that people took the time to leave on any particular submittal.

t's "the admins and mods", by majority vote [should be mentioned in the 'About' page ...see bottom of this one], and interestingly all Master nominations to date have been unanimous. Just to word things more accurately...it's about deciding who is granted the privilege of 'earning money at WC'. It's about as 'subjective' as determining who will be the nex

Moderators nominate someone to be a master based on their contributions and we vote on it. Masters then have the right to submit content as a premium (master) skin which is then moderated by Stardock. Thanks for the answer.

Which brings up an interesting question which is, who exactly decides who is a master skinner? Is it Brad? It is a committee of employees? Is it the admins and mods? Seems like a subjective call at best. So who decides who has the right to earn money at WC from the sale of skins? To be clear, I fully support the concept of Master Skinners, just curious about the h

IRBrainiac...As far as I'm concerned...and I'm sure a lot of other people...YOU ARE A MASTER SKINNER! Second that! Brad, it's a winner. I'm already a customer. Which brings up an interesting question which is, who exactly decides who is a master skinner? Is it Brad? It is a committee of employees? Is it th

f someone complains about skins being sold, there is no arguing with them. They are selfish. To even entire a discussion with them is futile and will only end up with you needing an aspirin. Well said NT, that whole line of conversation is simply not worth the hassle. On with life!

Good explanation Andrew. Thank you! I read your long answer sheet to questions asked and did not see a specific response about why the columns on the My Skins pages do not total and only the "overall" column totals. I know you guys have your hands full, but I just want to know if they will total at somepoint down the road.
