If you ever feel stupid, then just read on. If you've learned to speak fluent English, you must be a genius! This little treatise on the lovely language we share is only for the brave. Peruse at your leisure, English lovers. Reasons why the English language is so hard to learn: 1) The bandage was wound around the wound. 2) The farm was used to produce produce. 3) The dump was so full that it had to refuse more refuse. 4) We must polish the Polish f

The audacity of some never ceases to amaze!
Best of Birthdays to you!
Well deserved for a fine artist.
Good for you Kitty! Well done! As said before, refreshing post indeed.
Do submit content other people's work without their permission. Typo...I assume you meant do NOT submit.
Congrats to you for what you are doing with these lessons. It is a superb contribution to the community and I applaud you for it.
I'll drop it here as well as it goes off topic for the thread. I am more than familiar with cost allocations and absorption and where they end up on a P/L versus a balance sheet. Once again, I wish you a great day!
How much do you think this 'personal one-off' will cost you? Price will NOT be 'shared' by volume. How much for that Windowblind skin made JUST FOR YOU....never to be released elsewhere...just yours? $5? no. $50? $500 $5000 $50,000? Where you answer correctly is where you are based in reality. OK, now ditto with an animated high-def wall image.....come one....have a stab at it. And instead, this product's cost is to be shar
Have a great Birthday!
The more I think about this, the more I get bothered. I hope this thread is a very intelligent twist on marketing and Stardock isn't really taking the whines seriously. Agreed. The whining is silly. Dreamscapes will either be successful or not based on people wanting it on the desktop after the "newness" factor has worn off. If the public decides against it, it will not matter if the Dreams cost or are free. If the public likes it, then good dreams w
Come on, tell us the truth...you trashed the old machine so as to get a new Vista compatible one. We won't tell!
"In December, Softchoice warned that 94 percent of PCs in North America would not be capable of running Windows Vista Home Premium—half of PCs, any Vista version." This article might have something to do with the slow acceptance. It is workplace related but the underlying issues are the same in many respects. WWW Link
If all those music files were in there, I suppose a sort by folder size might turn up the missing item.
Here the info from his other thread This is DanDunn. I'm logged-in as a different user because my account here has been disabled. I exchanged a couple emails with TarkusShakti this morning after I sent him a personal thanks for his comments. He now informs me that his account has also been disabled. I guess this is what happens when you criticize Stardock. This should be a warning to all. They don't like criticism.
Happy Birthday to you!
report your issue with MS and then shut the f**k up. Is this really necessary?
"Now, Microsoft is getting a taste of what we've gone through. Maybe this time, nVidia will be motivated to worry about desktop drivers rather than trying to show they can get an extra frame per sec in a first person shooter." With the popularity and widespread use of nVidia drivers, I am confused as to why this is a realization of an issue now. Certainly, MS and Stardock tested these programs prior to the release even of the beta version and I can not image tests that would not includ
The original poster probubly thought his arguments would receive a un-biased hearing in this forum. WRONG - most people who post here are stardock fanboys. Say anything against stardock and get ready to be blasted. The brainwashing software seems to be working for most people. I think it was the inappropriate threat to use pirated software that created many of the reactions. In the long run, pirated software costs everyone and it does not make one a
The extended and delayed release created all kinds of opportunities for rumors and other information to fester in the market place. Most people that I ask about switching to Vista that are not experienced users other than internet and/or Office use, reply that they are fearful that it will not work with their existing system and are waiting to the time when they will want a new computer. Who can blame them?
In evaluating my resubscribing to OD I decided to use a mild threat to attempt to garner some co-operation from stardock support. This is where this all goes sour. Your "mild" threat to garner support if carried out would cost Stardock one subscription account whilst you become a thief, sacrificing your own integrity. How smart is that? Why not just concentrate on getting your remaining 11 issues resolved without the mild threats? If there are
Excellent! Have a great weekend!
I said "I thought that Vista Ultimate users had no limits", the reply was "Where was that said?" and so the story continued in a negative way. Stick around XytroX. You asked a legitimate question but I think you are over reacting to the response you referenced. "Where was that said?" by Bebi Buma was nothing more than attempt to understand the basis for your opinion that there should be no limits. If what you thought was a fact was actually written som
To be pedantic 'able to download' actually means 'able to download'. Another classic Jafo! Made my day. Thanks!
Yes indeed!
