I think that the issue raised of ugly skins has nothing to do with Stardock and Window Blinds and is a mis-placed complaint. Window Blinds is a tool and the creation of great skin requires the talent to use the tool properly and to its best advantage. Certainly, there are many paintings out there that I would not consider great art, but is that the fault of the brush and canvas producer? I think not. Only a handful make it into the museums and the same is true for skins, only a handful are

With my latest wall, Clamming near New London Ledge Light, I started including 1440x900 based on requests for same. A separate section for wide screen would be good in that it would keep the download sizes smaller not having to include 5 or 6 sizes in one zip.

Excellent review. There are many apps beginning to emerge for the iPhone that address some of the issues you mentioned as well as several ways to have your mail service not send everything to your iPhone. I am very pleased with mine and am having a great deal of fun discovering new features and ways of doing things. Well done ID!

I'm willing to bet whining won't get you anywhere. Why is it so hard for you to comprehend that anyone has the right to charge for their work. That you.. are not entitled to ANYthing for free. It is a disease very much a part of the internet world. If I could give everyone in the world a free car, there would be those that would complain of having to buy gas. Just the way it is...life in the big city.

If Stardock can succeed in making skinning a viable business opportunity for skinners, I am all in favor of it as I have been since the beginning. Meanwhile, we all get the enjoyment of watching future master prospects demonstrating their fine community spirit and proper supportive behavior. Wouldn't want to blow that opportunity now would we?

Same with walls, boots. How many houses on the prairie do you rate high? How many squirlies do you rate high? How many clouds over green grass do you rate high? Seen one ya almost seen them all. If they are unique, I rate them higher and feature them. If they are the same old same, well..... A most troubling and silly statement in my opinion. The subject matter should not dictate the rating, but rather the quality of the presentation and work. See
