Maurader is not about phase out only dude. It has Distort Gravity, which makes ships immune to PJIs. It has Subversion, which STACKS btw, this is excellent when fighting at an enemy planet where he has factories, like his homeworld. Even with feed u cant build fast enough. And Stabilize Phasespace, which is also useful. All of these are pretty pimp.

What you mean the devs did nothing to socut! Way back when they nerfed my favorite tactic of using scouts to destroy queued buildings! GRRRR! I just loved making someone build their extractors 3 times lol Of course scout+Sova rush on that silly map Twin Empires, back when it wasnt setup right and your opponets could start on your side (probably in 1.03 or even 1.02), it was a thing of glory. Kill constructors, and keep circling the planet. then bring in LFs kill factory, keep circ

He probably means export wise. Yes some countries produce more food than US, but most countries need this food for themselves. Many countries require food imports, without which there would be quite a bit of starvation. For example, China produces more food than US, but it is a net importer of food. So if China disappeared, no one would go hungry, in fact there would be more food to go around.

Ok none of the code shown takes into account damage type. So either there is another piece of code that determines when UpdateShieldBOnusGrowth is called based on damage type. Or damage type has no effect on when the damage causes the shield mitigation to rise, and is used for something else, maybe animation. EadTaes, it's not 1% per second, it's playerShieldData.shieldAbsorbDecayRate per second. This variable is not defined in the code provided.

Beyond the sword is what we play. The games go on anywhere from 30 minutes if someone dies to a warrior lol to 4 hours. We don't use hotseat, as that would require all players to be in your house and it would take ages. We all do simultaneous turns. If a player drops we wait for them to rejoin. If a player has to leave the team has 10 mintues to find a sub or continue with AI.

I think the missing factor may be that illuminator damage is frontloaded, while assailants is backloaded. I think the frontloaded damage deals damaged based on initial shield mitigation, not accounting for the shield mitigation rise resulting from current shot. While backlaoded does damage based on the mitigation including the damage from current shot. This would mean that Illumiantor will have less of its damage mitigated before the ship hits the mitigation cap. Also the Vasari target

Yes if you play the game with certain settings it is much faster. We usually have games based on eras. In Ancient Era a 5 v 5 match is popular. It is hugely action packed as we play with city elimination 2, meaning you lose 2 cities you die. The map setup is also very interesting as the 5 are broken up into 2 camps, one of 3 one of 2, and they each face another camp either in North and south side of the m

There is a way to stop smurfing and other bad behavior, but it is not easy. Civ4 had same problems, and players made a very successful ladder which cut down on shenangians by a lot.

Unfair does give me a problems occasionally in 4x speed. But it's mostly due to bad timing. To beat unfair you need to time your starbase on the front just right. Then you back fill your planets, it's pretty opposite fo the way you play a human. Getting Military tech first, then getting Econ, then going back to fleet up.
