I posted it in the bugs (Its not the same thing) but if you use the Generic/Imperial Build queue then it will build all buildings not on that planet including trade goods/wonders/achievments already built elsewhere ~SDC~

Suggestion: In the description of Earth, Change Arcean Empire to the current name of the Arceans. I changed them to The Arcean Republic so I noticed this. Its no biggie but I think its somthing. ~SDC~
The option for a final attempt to mediate peace between two empires (IE. An Ally and somone you just don't want to be at war with) before war breaks out ~SDC~
I love the idea of releasing Xenomorphs I think it should give you a slight negitive to adv Them a great negitive. Maybe the biodamage like you said. You know what would be cool? Multiple Invasion tactics. Xenomorph Invasion and then Mass Driver, See gets rid of BOTH problems
Suicide Kamikazes should be for everyone. Suicide Bombers aren't EVIL they simply are devout Kamikaze Pilots aren't EVIL they simply are Patriotic I'm not praising Terrorists, but to say anyone who would sacrifice themselves to further a cause is evil is totally unfair. You condemn heroes and Rebels, who would sacrifice themselves for good causes. In conclusion Suicide troops are only as evil as the cause they repersent.
Ship names are Napoleon Class Cruiser New Detroit Class Escort Genesis Class Destroyer Nelson Class Frigate "Alien Ship" (Name TBDecided) Magellan Class Science Vessel Hades Class Battleship Shadowstar Class Fighter (Name TBDecided)Torpedo Bomber
I'm thinking about making a minor extention for this game that would add late game ships, Nothing bigger than a battleship, (1 Cruiser, 1 Destroyer, 1 Frigate, 1 Escort, 1 Science Vessel, 1 "Alien" ship and later 2 fighters and a battleship) that aren't more powerful than the Excalibur, but essentially better versions of their earily predecessors, cheaper, faster and stronger to repersent a fundemental revolution in ship design and technology (Basically the old designs became inefficent) What do
They have no Political party colour.. anyone know a way to add those?
Exactly Dearmad, Exactly.
Bugs I've found 1) If you set the build queue to "Imperial/Generic" it planets will build Trade Goods/Wonders/Achievments even though they are already are built 2) If you rush buy two social projects only one will show up in the details, I don't know if the other is accually there, but I don't belive so 3) If you switch back to the Imperial gov't then the senate still votes for parties instead of the imperial rule (I don't know if this is a feature, I don't believe so)
GalCiv is very much a strategic combat game.. When you have TBS Space games you either get A) A grand game of Chess or B) Naval Combat on a 2d plane Face it, MOO2, althought was a great game completely lacked strategic planning, all of their defense was concentraited on a star and you couldn't cripple them without simply laying seige. This game is like the strategic plane of the Total war games ;p ~SDC~
Do Starbase bonuses stack if your using Multiple starbases with the same modules, because I was under the impression that they didn't ~SDC~
I made them Pure Evil (I seriously think they look it), Drengins Chao Evil, Yor Neutral, Arceans Chao Good and Torians Pure Good.. It works better this way and I renamed Altarians the Draco Vexa ~SDC~
I've gotten somthing like this when my Capital when I lost my cap to the I-League. I had my new capital and 25 turns or so, It moved (without any threat to my home) up north ~SDC~
The benefits for going "good" are stuff like your Manufacturing Capital isn't captured by a bunch of anti-evil Zealots. I'm pretty sure a ultimate evil is unleashed by the "Ancient Civ" event where it asks you whether or not you want to bulldoze the ruins. I can't tell you how many games I had to start over because an Ultimate Evil seized my Core planets or I-Leauge within 100 turns of the start ~SDC~
I just wrote this in another topic BUT.. Here's my idea, By having a Coup you force yourself into an imperialist government BUT It could trigger a civil war if your not properly prepared (Domininating your planets) ~SDC~
I was playing a Federation goverment.. They wouldn't let me do ANYTHING No War, No Empire, No Senate.. You should have the ability to arrange a coup d'etat "Oh! You don't want to be an Imperialist Government? My Excaliburs say otherwise" ~SDC~
And I'm talking about the CorePolParties file ~SDC~
What happens if you remove the // before the industrialists and the Universalist? Will the game accept them back in? ~SDC~
I name them after countries New Germany - Industrial Core New Britian - Commerece Core New France - Tech Core and my favorite name from that Scheme is New Byzantium ~SDC~
Uggg Alot of Messages here, Instead of being a good "citizen" and reading it all to see if my bugs are here I'll just say em: 1) If you buy two social projects in a turn, only one will show up on the Planet stats (Is it there and not listed?) But you can't build another (I did this with Fusion plant and Manufacturing Center, only got the center) 2) If you set it on imperial build list it will build EVERYTHING not already on the planet, wonders, trade goods and accomplishments.
This concerns me: The Torians are hard pressed by my Imperial Will and they demanded peace stating "We have secert weapons prepared for the final battle with you" They're bluffing right? ~SDC~
