The tribute bug report I made on the previous page is partially in error. The 10bc tribute shown in the economy section of the domestic policy screen is for for a tech I bought for 10bc for ten turns. I was unaware that this was reported as tribute. However, the stats screen errors I reported are definitly real.

The tech graph at the side of the screen does show how much you are spending on research, not your tech level. This is not explained in the manual, but some quick experamentation shows it to be the case. There seems to be a lot of bugs related to reloads right now.
The Drengin demanded 930 bc for 0 months for me as payment for not stomping me. I accepted. Now things are screwy. Under my domestic policy screen in the economic section it shows me paying 10bc per month in tribute, even though the Drengin's demand was the first I had recieved in the game (it was for 0 months). My income says I am recieving 0 bc in tribute from other civs, which is correct. But in the stats screen for my civ, in the economy section, it says I am recieving 128bc per tur
I think they should just remove the effect population has on morale altogether. It would be a simple way to fix morale. This would allow us to have more difficult morale without having to resort to the silly transport tactic. If you think about it, all of the problems we've had with morale stem from the population effect.
Thanx for the replies. If you would like my savegame to look at, let me know.
1) In the stats section of the diplomacy screen for the Dregin, I have the Espionage Priority slider set to 5 bc, but above there in the race stats screen where it says "amount spent on espionage against this race" (or something close to that) it says 50. Shouldn't those numbers be the same, or am I missing something here? 2) The technology graph on the right side of the screen says I am in first place, and the Dregin in third behind me and the Torians. But in the race stats section in
I have a simple, low tech solution for this. I roll up a magazine and hold it in front of my screen over the blurb area so I can't read it :D
Yeah, it kinda makes the Populist party worthless, and there is no incentive to stay with Imperial government now. I think moral needs an overhaul. It needs to be as difficult as it was before, but there should be better ways of dealing with it than loading transports and then killing them.
