I think once it's done I'll also just uninstall and install clean just to be safe.
I was downloading 0.99[rc].016 and then I un-checked the pre-release version box in Stardock and it switched to 1.90.018 and continued to download.....so is this OK or should I just uninstall all TA files again and start over?
No, the final version will be 1.9. Anything less than 1.0 is beta.
Should I delete 0.99[rc].016? Why is it available on Stardock?
Downloading....... :CONGRAT:
Any chance of a early release for us hard core users? I'm expecting to be abducted by Aliens (again!) at some point today so I don't know if I'll be on Earth tomorrow......
Actually, you guys want to know the one-week delay cause? The new ridiculously large galaxy size. They have to be play tested and those things take serious time.
I forgive you.....:D Is there really going to be a ridiculously large galaxy size? :SURPRISED:
Good grief.....the amount of teasing you Stardock people do is too much....first its this date and then that date and now another date....my first girlfriend didn't make me wait this long.... Well...its good that we now have the launch date set at Apr. 30.....2008 I hope? :d
I bought Space Empires V through Steam and if you set it up as Hollow Man says it does indeed run in Steam's offline mode.
[Latka Gravas] Tenk you veddy much! [/Latka Gravas] :)
Well, I've played around with the demo and my early reaction is to pass on buying it....maybe over time I'll get hooked on it..... but not so much right now.
I was always interested in the Space Empires series and I noticed on Steam that SE IV Deluxe and SE V were on sale together for $14.90 so I bought them. So far I'm enjoying SE V, I read on their forum that a new patch 1.70 is coming out in a few days.
I'm trying the demo, so far it seems to be a decent game, if they patch it up enough to fix the problems that are being reported in their forum I just may buy the thing.
Take care Cari....thanks for the update.
Lost Empire: Immortals....looks very interesting, I'll definitely be looking for any reviews for it.
I just beamed over from /forums.galciv2.com to hopefully find out that a demo would be any day now, I'm sure it was reported at galciv2.com that the Sins demo would be available about one month after Sins was released.....now it looks like it will be a few more weeks to go.... Patching the game as a reward for the early-adopters is more important that putting out a demo for people who have, if you ask me.
Huh?...."Patching the game as a reward for the early-adopters

Yeah, I've seen it once ....so far.
What a list! I am double-gobsmacked! :HOT:
Great!!! Just got it downloaded....going to try it out now..... :HOT:
Maybe it's 5PM Honolulu time..... :p
Get well soon Brad.
Just downloaded it....no problems.....
Test...1..2...3...test....
Looks very interesting....but...I will have to try the demo first before I decide to purchase it.
