The latest top 10 empire is a steadily growing force to be reckoned with, slowly gaining ground in the Metaverse.
45 days till EBZ starts to take back what is his.
Shhh! Don't say things like that, you two! You shouldn't let the Altarians know how much longer they can get away with pushing us humans around before the Great Altarian Killer EBZ is back on station!
However, your empire is focused on strategy and gameplay, which is certainly not a criticism but is very difficult to write about. Rest assured that your empire will see it's day in the sun, maybe soon.
Yes, RB is being watched already. All in good time. :) *Gerakken sneaks off to observe other events in the Metaverse.*
The simplified version of one of the great mysteries of the Metaverse: Total of your current game scores: 62,737 Games submitted: 6 The basic formula for calculating the score is the total score of all games divided by the square root of the number of games played. In your case, that would be 62,737 divided by the square root of 6 (2.45) which equals 25612. The more complex formula comes into play later. Your games will be put into 30 or 31 day blocks and the simpl
ok troops - we iz all senators now!
This could get tricky as the empire grows. Not unless, of course, all the new recruits get promoted too. But there have been empires where the emperor was the only senator, others where everyone was a senator, senatorship as a reward system, and the representative model of one senator for every so many overlords. They all can work and the diversity is interesting.
suggested activities could include drinking heavily and behaving badly
Isn't that already common amongst the more dedicated Galciv empiring types? And a devotee truly seeking the depths of Galciv can only appreciate the subtleties of the game while drunk. Who knows what killer, game-winning strategy can be formed while plastered? Of course, the challenge is remembering that killer strategy later...
Special Forces Wild Wombat 13 576 2920405
Notice the response to the Jedi offensive and the especially dedicated Jedi Captain Mayito trying to rush past the Spec Forces. They are even giving the Ringwraiths trouble now. Um, I think you might need to call in some of those Jedi from the various reaches of galaxies far, far away to keep up. Or at least prevent the Euros from slipping past sometime in the near future.
*Gerakken infiltrates the graveyard, being wary as usual for any soul-sucking, people-eating denizens that may have developed an appetite. Instead of the quiet solace of the tombs, disturbed only by the occasional creature from beyond the grave looking for a meal of some unwary person or animal, the Spymaster finds the residents are entertaining guests, engaging in lively conversation.* Lively, enlightened undead. Now that's scary. :D
Glad I could help. And congrats to one of our newest admirals. :CONGRAT:
Now that's one heck of a halo crashing into the heart of darkness. If a casual do-gooder like myself irritates the Evil Ones, a very good should really annoy them. :)
It's the day after Thanksgiving, so since everyone else seems to still be over the river and through the woods to either visit family or shop like crazy, I will just toss a nice piece of ham to Threadzilla. Oh, and for our forum's diverse multi-national audience, it seems the large retail establishments of American capitalistic society have decreed that the day after Thanksgiving is to be a sacred day for shopping, especially early in the morning. Call me slightly old fashioned, but hol
We feel a little inferior over here because Germany doesn't have all this impressive war machinery like nuclear bombs, F-16s and FOX News.
I am an American, one who feels both protected and threatened by the nuclear bomb technology we made, but loving those F-16s patrolling our skies. Oh rats! It looks like I got to address the FOX news part. Um, it is protected by the US Constitution from government censorship, but anyone with enough money can buy them out and change the
I only have one explanation in my limited arsenal of Metaverse repair knowledge: you stated in another thread that you upgraded to Drengin.net recently. That would prevent you from posting new games properly until the serial number is upgraded both in SDC and your player record. Forgive me for using the handholding method if you already have done both and it doesn't work. Because if this doesn't work, I am at a loss here. In SDC, go to Tools, Register products, make sure the games tab i
Ah, but the possibilities if the tech could be coded to fit the name. Put several constructors at point A to build a starbase with a wormhole module (it might have to be built up several levels for balance, kind of like a terror star), build another base at point B, send ships flying between the two places for one movement point. Now, before people get too excited thinking about the obvious benefits to a human player on a larger map, think about a scenario where it is the aliens doing t
Two things are happening: A couple of players moved around between major empires and scores are getting aged across the board. It seems to be happening in increments over a couple of days, but even GROSS, an empire that has neither lost or gained no players recently, got hit with a large penalty that can only be explained by the Metaverse aging and old points getting slightly reduced.
The way I see it, people can thank God in whatever capacity and priority they so choose, so long as they are thankful for what they have and not lamenting over what they don't have. Now, onto feast arrangements. This is where I definitely side with the pro-ham stance discussed in the Jedi thread. People can have turkey as the main course at my house, but there had better be room on the table for a ham as well. I got plans for that ham, plans that will last for days! :d
gawd gerakken you have gotta do something about those 11 straight good games.
OK, OK, I met you half way this time. Just submitted a neutral game. At least now you Evil Ones can't say I am uncompromisingly good. :)
Also, It seems that Marquesa has a twin, Slithirin. On the evil charts this person has almost the same score as her, but this person has the same name and account(rainbird) listed.
Just a little guess work here. The player name
Going back to an older topic, I managed to submit a neutral alignment game. It was a 1.11 game ending at 40 alignment and it was a fairly mixed bag of good and evil events (the evil ones just weighted heavier).
Phew! Wrangling those aliens into line took longer than I thought. No good Yor, always rebelling and not joining the mighty alliance I was building until I was almost able to culture bomb the map and win that way. Well, at least I brought a few of them back with the loot this time. They will make fine workers, and if they don't, they become spare parts. :d
And for those upgrading from Galciv to Drengin.net, be sure to not only change the serial number in SDC, but also pull up your own player record, click on your player name, and enter the new Drengin.net serial number in the page that will pop up to link the two numbers together to keep your game scores straight!
Looks like there is still some resistance in Gamma Sqaud. How about instead of picking dates, you folks make history first by trying to plow by the old hands in GS. Unless, of course, number 13 is your true calling afterall...
Passing GG is just a hop away. Just a little more effort... Work those aliens, make them admit defeat!
OK, it looks like the icon madness is temporarily abated, but maybe not for long. If the few, the proud, the Spec Forces are going to take down those Ringwraiths soon, you'll need discipline. And nothing says discipline like those stripes!
Most of the MWC is bound to ground to a halt on at least Thanksgiving. If it isn't family and/or travel during the holiday, football will be your doom. And, just to make sure it works out that way, Evil Gerakken can always try to persuade his pirate captain to come on over and give you a football lineup and commentary that will seal your Thanksgiving fate. Muwahahaha! :HOT: *Gerakken runs off after swiping some more MWC popcorn*
Oh, I am a watchin' these folks. Getting into the top 10 is pretty good, but now you are sneaking up on the ANZACs as well. But even if RB can get passed them in short order, it will be time to face the Evil Ones. And I get this feeling that they do not always play nice... :)
