No, I think GROSS should keep everything in the open. If there was some consensus for an outside web site, then at least make a rule that there be no private rooms in it. We have no need to hide from the heathens. We can devastate the others without sharing strategies in super-secret lairs. Besides, it is better that the others know their fate in advance. More enjoyable that way!
Hmmm, somehow I can't agree with any of that. :notsure:
EBZeroMatrix
Luck will get you Ranger class starships in the game. It happens randomly to you, and it will only happen to those that have the luck ability as well.
Ohhh, another possible exile :) EBZ looks forward to this.
3rd? Heh...this just gets better. Lest does those empires know that the last trick hasn't been pulled out of my hat yet. Anyone notice the crank hasn't been crankin'? Heh, there's a good reason for that. Sleep well GROSSers, for the other empires have much to fear soon ;) ~SDC~
No. If you are using SDC, goto the top click on 'view' then check to see if 'show pre-release versions' is checked. [Message Edited]
Heh. I just wanted to be post #1400 ~SDC~
I'm starting to already liek this stealthfrequency guy. In fact you should be the one that makes people actually walk the plank! *Hands sword over to stealth. Arrrr, there ya go matey, have fun ;)
Try re-registering on the Metaverse. I can't hurt to try again. If that doesn't work, check your internet settings, or if you are behind a firewall then try configuring it so that it can let you send the info.
Usually just one transport does it all ;)
Yea, use the print screen button. What it does is save the screenshot to a clipboard, where you can paste it on a paint program, save, and send it.
could you take a screenshot of the pop-up?
Hey, no problemo. Glad to help out a member of the Illuminati ;)
--This came from the G.R.O.S.S. comm thread...it was in thread 1019, I think. Here it is: That pop up can be easily disabled. It's simple, but I found this out after playing around with a few things. I dunno if this works on any other operating system other than XP, but if you can find the 'services' program then you're set... here's how (for XP users): Click Start Click on Control Panel (you can also find it under 'my computer') Click on Administrative Tools Click
If it is the annyoing messenger crap, then a firewall can decrease the frequency, but it won't stop it altogether, unless its set to the max. Give me a min. I'll find the instructions I had here on disabiling it....
Are you connected to the net when it happens? Also, could you give me a screenshot of it...because if its what I'm thinking, then I can tell you what you need to do to stop them for good, without buying a program for it.
Eh, I don't think I'm going to be drinking again anytime soon. I think that bottle of absinthe nearly killed me, lol.
Idaho actually doesnt exist. i can prove it, does anyone know someone who lives in Idaho?
I knew someone one time that was from Idaho. Come to think of it, I never saw that person again...
If they had no culture resist buildings, then they flip liek everyone else. At least in my experience.
Might want to replace him with EBZeroMatrix passed out in a tequila coma.
I don't liek tequila :notsure:
Well you do need to pay to keep those people on the planet alive, eh? Thats the only thing I can think of that would cost any money, aside from building maintenance. You pay more for lower PQ planets, and less for the higher ones.
The minors also have plenty of culture restisting social structures as well. They can culture flip, but it will take time and patience.
EBZ here. Ugh..... I'm still wondering if I am dead or alive. You know, I never knew the boundaries of drunkenhood till last night. I think I am living though, I can still feel my heartbeat. Well give me a couple of hours, and the it's time to turn the crrrank!
Well I'm not so much a conspiracy believer. The Illuminati was the only thing I have read about. It's something I won't take literally, but it does kinda make you wonder what our government is *really* up to.
I filled up a sector full of trade SB's. :) . 10 freighters between my planet, through one empty sector, to the next sector with the destination. I made liek some X5 of what I did from my revenue that I got from my colonies. I could set taxes to 0% and spending to 100% and I'd still be making a heck of a lot of cash. The flipside is that, the planet I was trading with eventually flipped because of the immense influence of the sector filled SB's :notsure: . It was still fun though.
Well there lies the problem. It's finding other people that are going to be committed. I heard someone say (I think Ray) that one of the reasons why G.R.O.S.S. is on top is because we plently of active members. True that is, but also that we do work hard at what we do. In fact I believe that there only really a total of 5-7 really active people in the G.R.O.S.S. empire at most of the times, and then the rest gets in games whenever. Another thing I have noticed is that G.R.O.S.S. empir
