I want to be one of those to mention 'where are the rest of the race overviews' people. Where are they. IGN can take the time to put this up, but not finish what they started?

Oh, and why haven't we got that databank entry for the Altarian and Terrans yet from IGN? Do they just not care? (I ask here since my actual thread about it was completly ignored).

Has it ever been considered to allow ships to orbit planets before colonization. The reason I bring this up is I was reading the post about the expansion pack, where you have to develop the tech to colonize certain planets, and if other empires develop it first, they can colonize planets in your space that you can't. So, why not allow you to move ships into orbit of unclaimed worlds. Of course, it wouldn't be that simple, and that isn't just what the post is about. I'm

I was wondering something. If you have a system with two colonies. You build planetary defenses on one, and then on the other, is this cummilitive, or is the newer one just a waste of money.

Something like this happend to me on AP. The Yor declared war on me and they were on the other side of the galaxy. But right after they declared war, they were listed in the forign relations list, so I just put espionage and sabotage up to minimum and eventual got peace. Then I finally made contact with them, moblilzed a army of 20 billion, and invaded half there empire (It would have been all, but they were allied with the Arcean, and they actually bordered my space, so I invaded them, and then

I build them all, and usually don't have a problem with money. I made lots of money, built almost ever improvment possible, moblized billions of troops, and have at least two fighters and a fleet ship at every system.

I agreed with you on the defection/reforming there empire one. I even say I liked that idea. And just like the UP can lift certain restrictions, there could be votes to allow/forbid immergration for so many years. I'm talking about a whole new aspect to the game. I agree with you. And I explained what parts from Civ3 I wanted in the game. I was just using it so people can get a better idea about what I would like to see. I don't understand why your being so hostile about this.

I understand what your saying GoblinCookie. But I don't mean the alien colony that loses population will have almost nobody when they defect. Its more of the loyal stay, but once a certain population leaves (mabye just 10%) the colony shifts sides because they miss there familiys or whatever. And what I mean by randam number is that all planets have unreported populations (this is stated several times within the game). Making a surreder bar would be to much to add into the game (mabye i

I would have put it in your thread, but I didn't want to just talk about the concepts of invading planets (Like I said, that was the third time I did that, and left out quite a bit, like) Two new techs, which would lead to the alien populations going away. A 'Good' tech, that would all through genetic alteration, Terrans and aliens to interbreed. With a explanation that it use to be taboo, but people have the right to choose who to have children with. Since there would be more Terrans t

All right, this is the third time I have tried posting this, so I may not be as clear as I was in the other two (if there actually out there and I can't find them). I would like aliens to be counted as a seperate population. It would improve in my gaming experience. I would also like to see alien immergration (which would come before colonys defect). I just like the idea that I rule more then just a bunch of Terrans, and that aliens either want to live under my rule, or I have conquered

I noticed that the instruction manual had more political parties listed then there where in the game. The Universalists, and the Industrialists where not in the game. Did they decide to take the these parties out or is there something wrong with my game. Also a question: Which political party are people have the most luck with?

Something I would like to see is species population when a world is your. I understand that when you conquer a world, most die. But what if a civilization surrenders. Do they all die. Ritual suicide. I just think it would be cool if planets had other races on them so there could be a bigger felling of conquest. :)
