Im just curious. What is stardock all planning on doing with avalon. Ive heard desktopx, but isnt there a whole lot else possible like windowblinds, winfx, and objectdock with the help of avalon?

The performance in desktopx is really nice imo. Ive used themes and objects before and they all ran without a hitch and were easily configureable in comparison. Other programs out there run all jankidy or have some serious limitations for people with imagination and maybe not all the know how. A desktop area is meant to be covered, hence why its a desktop. And thats one idea on how to solve it. Instead of displaying the actual release, display the skiners name, and then have an expandable tree for their recent release, nothing that navigates away from the current page. It would keep one skinner from filling up the entire list with their individual icons. Get it? Why doesnt wincustomize try encouraging some other sites to merge or cooperate more closely with one another? I dunno, like maybe pixtudio, xymantix, deviantart, deskmod, and skinsfactory? That way more people might be attracted to one large site and you could charge more for subscription (which is insanely cheap) and you could charge for premium skins from pixtudio and things like that? Someone who will remain lameless told me the reason they dont pack their icons is so its easier to find the specific icon youre looking for. But cant you just put the name of the icon in the description so its just as easily searched for? Correct me if im wrong. Enough of the individual icon releases!
