@KEmperor: Thanx for your reply; call me dumb, but i still don't get it. does that mean you put money in an envelope and send it to stardock or is it some kind of formular/check?
It's an actual piece of paper like a check, issued from a bank or other official agency. You give them your money, and they give you the piece of paper to send stardock.
KEmperor
What I meant was that one or more of the top empires could crumble, many of the evil overlords could migrate here, and you would be a top contender.
Nope, not us. I can't speak for the rest of the empire but I've resigned myself to the fact that the No. 1 position is unattainable and have lowered my standards accordingly.
That's not completely true. Every couple of months there seems to be a major metaverse shakeup, where large numbers of players change empires. For example, just look at what happened to GROSS.
A money order is like a check, but you buy it with cash upfront from a bank, post office, etc.
I just played a game on 1.2. I noticed the new logistics tech right away, that was nice. I did have a CTD right at the end of the game when I was taking the Drengin's last planet though. When I reloaded Galciv, somehow two of them started up. One reloaded the game and the other started to play a new intro video, which incidentally I thought was a good video. All in all a strange night. Finally submitted with no problems.
In my experience, the Death Knight is always much more powerful than a battleship, and is often a match for a dreadnaught, depending on what kind of bonuses the other races have. The Death Knight quite a powerful ship at that point in the game.
Wow, thats strange. I haven't had that problem.
1. Yes 2. No
Now there's a nice explosion sound when you blow up a star too.
You dont like Dr. Pepper!?! :SURPRISED:
The I-League are a bunch of goodie goodies, and they will declare war on you if they think they can win. Same with the fundimentalists and the other event-created minors, at least in my experience.
But you dont have a team....::Confused::
I see 15 games under his name. The rule must be 15, not 20 then.
Metaverse ranking is where you are on the high score chart. For example, you are ranked 2222 in the metaverse, whereas Jaws is number 1. [Message Edited]
Hmmm...I may have to add a bug in scoring to the above list. I submitted two 1.19 games to the Metaverse and while both seem to have registered my score doesn't seem to have changed as it should have.I submitted approx 12,000 points worth of game but I don't think my overall Metaverse score went up at all.
Looking at the games you just submitted, the score is a lot lower than the other two for your february block. It wont increase your score much if you submit lower scor
It just started working again.
Good report on Realms Beyond. You're right, most of the profiled empires have changed dramatically. I think it might be time for updated reports.
Ah, perhaps the server is down. I had no problem submitting a 1.19 game yesterday. [Message Edited]
For some reason I can't log in with Stardock Central today. I don't think anything has changed with my settings since yesterday, when it was working fine. Any help would be appreciated.
You arent going to get upgraded from citizen for uploading a few games.
To upgrade a starbase, you have to build more constructors and fly them to the starbase. It will then pop up asking you what you want to upgrade. In order to become a friend with an extraterrestrial, you want to trade with them. Also, giving them gifts helps. If you are good and they are good that also helps.
Well, thats one of the prices you pay for using those kinds of mods then. ~SDC~
I don't know if it was just my playing style that game, but I made A LOT of money with 1.19. A lot more than I usually do.
I don't think you can just get rid of the culture victory. You could try gifting some of your planets with high culture to another race, thereby causing you to lose some sectors. Thats the only thing I can think of.
Wow! Amazing work!
