I hereby wish to qualm any notion that we are surrendering or otherwise merging with ANY power, nor do I ever plan to. We shall remain an individual power in the universe, and until drastic changes occur I dont see that changing. Secondly, I wish to calm the fears of my citizens or senate members that I will sell out. I won't, we will not give in to this. We will fight on any battlefield to maintain our individuality. I would like to publicly announce that in preparation for this conflict I have taken the innitial steps in creating an Army of the Republic. I have also requested of the senate that I be granted temporary emergency powers, during the conflict that I will take on reluctantly, and hand down as soon as this terrible war is concluded.
