Using thread titles like "I WANT MY AIRCRAFT CARRIER NOW!!!11!!1!ONE!" (slight exaggeration from my side) draws a certain attention, you know. Shouting around and demanding things usually doesn't make things better, quite the contrary.

I haven't bothered researching beyond multimedia centers (if that) since the first couple of games I played. I don't think this is a good idea: The techs give a morale bonus all by themselves and enable to build the wonders. In fact, I rarely build morale buildings but I research the techs relatively early.

Play some more suicidal games and your average will become suicidal soon enough No, it will never happen because the average difficulty is rounded down.

Bank 20, 24 Costs 250, 100 Stock 25, 30 (morale improves 10,10) Costs 120, 150 Hmm, are these number right? Being the most powerful building in the queue, Stock Markets shouldn't be cheaper than the Banks, right? But no, I don't want to nerf the Stock Market's other values. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.gif" bor

It doesn't make sense for them to be obsolete later on when you have huge hulls. Even if it was just the Tiny and Small Hulls that have a significant bonus, I would be thrilled! Tiny and small hulls aren't obsolete at all in the late game: Just pack two of the best engines and weapons on a tiny hull, build a fleet as large as possible of them (21+), a

Don't worry Stormbringer, I don't think the CDs will be out that soon. In case of a serious shortcoming they could burn more of them. If your problems with buying online persisted, I'd recommend to contact them at [email protected] or a similar address. They're usually very helpful with getting things done, I had problems with my account too.

Ahhhhhhhhhh, the sweet scent of the naive. Sounds a lot like "Respect for the player"... cweissha, you raise a valid point, but as far as I know Stardock's reasoning behind it is the following: Their price is the "official" price, and they don't want to anger the retailers by starting price combats. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_

I should mention that most of my experience leading to the usage of fleets of tiny ships comes from playing in large/huge galaxies on Suicidal in 1.2. Usually that meant that the tech tree was finished relatively early, giving the opportunity to outfit tiny hulls with at least two of the best engines and two of the best weapons, magnified by military resources. The strategy might be less effective under other circumstances. However, this discussion made me think of it anew: Actually I l

I can attack, take damage, and upgrade which repairs all HPs on the same turn and be ready to go the next turn and do the same. That's what people call an exploit. We don't want to make it a viable strategy, do we? I'm not saying one cannot win with big ships. But I know from my playing experience up to Suicidal that you can win wars with lar
