what is the current consensus on MOO3? has the patched AI made it a worthwhile experience?
Evil Roy
mmmm, it's UNNATURALLY quiet in here. and DARK too.... evil "failed to escape the gravitational pull of killa's moon" steve PS let's all singalong.. "Go to sleep, little baby pirates, Mummy loves you, Daddy loves you too" clearly all the POSSe are over 35. :)
"I just have something against me having to say hey sorry pal, you're not good enough, here's my boot. Wham!!!!" sorry quote failure. Pontius, isn't this precisely what competition is all about? (and what ANZAC has to deal with EVERY day) I'm not a blue meanie, but if membership is more precious, won't people engage more, make more of an investment? it may not be necessary to be a bastardos if the rules are there - i have to play 3 games a month and write a story to stay in the Senate.
hey blue, why don't be kick out some of them "zero" members for a start, and then the low scoring non-active ones and try and get lean so that people like Madz think we look terribly attractive....
"The last I heard, it already is points/players (or actually sq. rt. of players, same as individual scores wrt. number of games)." sorry can't quote for some strange reason - if this is the case, then isn't it in the interest of empires to kick out all lowscoring/non-active players asap?
don't feel intimidated by anyone at all. however (though am new, so context) do feel that the current setup tends to support inactivity rather than activity. posted an idea on taboo thread which i've grown fond of after a bottle of wine which is to: limit number of players per empire (making membership a premium and cutting out deadwood) make empires invite only (placing courting/recruiting on people who want to join) build an empire map based on GavCiv entities through empire a
that's better :VOMIT:
mmmm, but which moon?, he cogitated...
Perhaps the Koala's A.S.S is a sign? waddaya reckon Blue? mmm, might have to study the picture harder. there must be a secret message hidden in those rotund pixels. ;)
or join an empire and have a larf....... :)
mmm this thread really is going all over the place... LOL
sorry to hear that blue - it is a bit frustrating the scoring system, but i suppose it effects everyone the same way. anyway, go GET those Republicans! there's only 2 of them! :)
oh, I did think that LOTR2 was a better 'movie' than LOTR1, but the Dwarf Tossing Jokes continue to baffle. :)
I guess, I go where I am most useful, as I always have done and am compelled to do
then i shall wait your inevitable return with great joy and great patience. :HOT: ps Poland...Queensland...it's all the same to me ;)
or we could limit the number of players in an empire (to say 20) and then play out the Empire Map via Empire Morality ie Good/Neutral/Evil (or their sub-sections)? hi cotal, does that mean u iz comin' back! :CONGRAT:
Hi there snookums
i'm sorry but Snookums/Snooks/Schnookums/Schnooks/Snookie is a Trademark of The Anzac Empire (Thornbury Sub-section). i feel deeply, as do my lawyers, that you should use the word 'Pet'.. BTW LOL LOL LOL very good turn of phrase killa...
good stuff VETERAN ebz!! :CONGRAT:
even i have to LOL
As a newcomer, it seems to me, that if the Metaverse is dead, then it is down to the Pirates and the Wedding rings.
couldn't agree more rainbird - we're seeing the rules of capitalism play out in the meta with the usual convergence into multi-nationals/duopolies blah blah. all i say to you (and all the other unattached) is join a smaller empire in the top ten so that the competition CAN be reestablished. either that or a reset OR a points table done on quality rather than
