hashed passwords (using MD5)

(using MD5)
MD5 has been known to be vulnerable to collision attacks for twenty years, and to trivial practical attacks for more than ten. Yahoo's continued use of MD5 for password storage is little different in 2016 from having stored them as plain text. If you have a Yahoo account, and use the same password anywher

Keys for non-Steam purchases are not transferable to Steam. But if you registered the original game and bought the first two expansions from us, then you can just download them directly in your browser from https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/ . No need to transfer anything anywhere. If you want to buy Rebellion and its DLC, there's no need to have that on the same platform as it doesn't require the original
Looked at download link title and it has the words "protected" and "expiretime=(string of numbers)". I wonder if means I can't get them here anymore either.
No, the links are just temporary. You can go back to the downloads page at any time and try again, it'll generate a new link.
Just take a look at how horses live in develop countries. They have the best possible life ever. They do not work, they are the focus of rich people who love them and care them to degrees most people would ever dream of. All of that is exactly the result that horses don't have to work anymore. Same thing with dogs, just a fraction of them work right now.
And how does the horse population compare between no

1.1 is actually very out of date; we stopped supporting standalone patches after that. If you registered the game, you can just download the entire latest version (1.53) from our store page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

The fact that the CVV codes were potentially compromised suggests they were storing them, which is a blatant violation of PCI-DSS requirements.

"Upgrade" is in comparison to your intent to purchase only two products. You don't need to have Object Desktop already. If you log out and try it you'll see you still get the same $30 off coupon.

The download on the store page includes the entire latest version of the game. We don't provide incremental patches, just the full version. You should be able to download and install over top or in place of your existing copy to update.
the servers in fact do not respond, so it makes sense that they did that (shut em down
That's the odd thing. I actually ran a traffic capture on it myself, and though the log says it got a 404 on something, and the screen stays blank, there aren't any 404s recorded in the capture. I can see it get a successful login response, retrieve registrations, download the server URL list, etc. Certainly doesn't see

I suspect that person doesn't even know what you're talking about. You need to be clear that you are talking about "GameStop PC Downloads App". They rebranded it shortly after they bought it and I doubt that person you spoke to was even around then. That Malaysian gaming store has existed with that name since well before GameStop purchased the digital distribution platform from us, and has nothing to do with GameStop's digital downloads.
I would appreciate comments as to the best way to proceed
If the site was all hand-made static pages before, I can understand moving to a database-driven solution. Doing it by hand doesn't really scale. That said, they replaced all of your work with something you now have no familiarity with, which (if it goes as planned), will also require a lot less maintenance effort. To be perfectly blunt about it, I'd be getting a resume ready. Eliminating w
