They bury the link on their site since they no longer support it for new purchases, but it's here: http://www.impulsedriven.com/downloads/gamestopapp/pc That said the app doesn't seem to be working at the moment (won't log in due to 404 errors). Unclear if they are having an issue or intentionally decommissioned it without an announcement. So if the check needs any more than it just being installed, you
apparantly gamestop no longer owns impulse, impulse is now in malaysia http://www.impulse.com.my/
No, that's the wrong URL. Impulse's site was always impulsedriven.com, which redirects to gamestop.com.
Unfortunately we don't have any ability to do anything with GameStop accounts or their app; GameStop purchased Impulse a several years ago now. Everything you had through Impulse should still be available in the GameStop app (though they discontinued new sales through it in 2014), but you will need to work through any issues with GameStop support. It looks like they might be having an issue as it just gives me a blank screen with 404 errors in the logs as well.
It's not in the installation folder, look under the game's folder in C:\ProgramData\Stardock for it.
Point of note, unless there is a secret perk of being an admin, outside of WC we only show a single first-party ad for stardock products, which (being from us) we can guarantee is safe (and costs us nothing to show).
It's virus-free? Wow. But how does a site VET the content being [oh god I almost said 'hijacked'] inserted without consent 'onto' the site - whether virus free or not?
<p
The site doesn't sanction the advertising 'inserted'.... and YOU don't actually want it either .
Yeah, you do, because you chose to use a browser that does that specifically as a feature. If you don't want ads at all, you'd just use any other browser with a blocker.
Some banks place temporary holds when the card is validated prior to charging. The hold is never actually deducted and drops off generally in 24-48 hours, but there must be sufficient funds to cover both it and the charge at the time of purchase.
Should be back to normal now.
You can give the account merge on the support site a try (to move registrations from your paypal email to your stardock account email): https://www.stardock.com/support/registrations/ Failing that though support should be able to help when they address your ticket.
Did you pay with a Paypal account under a different email address?
OP was asking why the colors in the game don't match what was shown on the workshop. Thumbnails being pre-rendered to improve performance (and not being automatically invalidated if you pick different colors on your race) is a different matter.
Colors always come from the race settings. The colors you see on the workshop are just whatever the creator had them set to on their race.
so i downloaded a torrent of sins of a solar empire
It's probably not the best idea to ask help from the very people whose work you're pirating.
Did you get WB through an OD subscription that has since lapsed?
You will need to renew your OD subscription to maintain the ability to download the programs and get the latest versions. If you don't renew, you will still be able to use what you have already purchased so long as you made offline copies of the installers and activation key(s) in advance of your subscription expiration.
They are steam keys.

How is that even possible? You can manage mailing list settings on the account page: https://www.stardock.com/accounts/subscriptions There's also an unsubscribe link at the bottom of every promotional mail which goes straight there for the address the mail was sent to, even if the address somehow doesn't have an account associated with it.
Anything you bought through Impulse should still be available in the GameStop app, even if GameStop no longer sells it or shows it on their site. Best bet would be to contact GameStop support about any questions/issues.
Is it worth it? I plan to sell the laptop.
Not if you'd have to buy the drive to do it, unless you'll be using it yourself enough to get your money's worth before you sell it.
The ad industry can complain about blocking once they put an end to malvertising on their networks.
Metaverse is a scoreboard. Multiplayer is... multiplayer. 1.6 has been released.

Moved to founder forum. Note that you had to enter a password from the founders forum to access the beta--it's founders only. I will point out, there is a roadmap for the expansions. They aren't something that we just decided to do one day and two weeks later we popped a beta out. There's some flexibility in the small DLC but for the big stuff, there is a lot more time and effort involved and going off-plan (i.e. doing a completely different expansion) doesn't come che
