Sounds like this is NOT the one that Walter Koenig and Tim Russ were trying to pull together?
Early next year MS plans to re-define W10 as a “recommended update”: This will automatically install W10 depending on how you have Windows Update configured.
It'll download and start the installer. That's bad enough if folks don't pay attention and just OK through the window when it shows up, or if they're on metered internet. But no, it won't actually install the OS on its own. The installer requires human interaction.
Same drivers? And those are two different game versions.
Not sure what you mean by CU, but 2.04X is the latest version of Twilight of the Arnor, the second and last expansion.
There isn't any approval process for avatars. It may take a few minutes to propagate on the servers, but beyond that make sure you have cleared your cache on your end.
Moved to correct category.
No, the formats are completely different.
What are the reasons for having multiple monitors? Seriously... (besides having documentation, guides, etc easily available on the 'other' monitor.
Having web browser, teamspeak, steam, etc. open on the second is the main reason. Of course this also requires that games support fullwindow/borderless mode, to be able to swap without minimizing. It makes a much bigger difference for productivity than games, though. I
On the specs alone, SATA3 tops out at 6Gbps, and USB3 tops out at 5Gbps. Current high-end SSD transfer rates are still around 4Gbps. The trick is that while SATA speeds should be pretty consistent, USB3 speeds vary wildly depending on the implementation on both the motherboard and the device. Some of them are pretty poor. So they could quite easily deliver speeds well below their specs.
There was an issue with the activation service which could cause unintended deactivation in some cases. That has been fixed now so you should just need to reactivate. If the problem persists, please open a support ticket so your issue can be investigated further.
Server 2012 R2 was released concurrently with Windows 8.1. The server 'edition' of Windows 10 will be Server 2016.
And finally, I mean no disrespect when I say this, but I did wait for a response to my support ticket. It was only after 5 days of not hearing back that I sought help here on the forum and got a response in far less time than when I'd waited for someone to respond to the support ticket. Log in on store.stardock.com and check the downloads page. If your order went through it should be there even if the email was spam filtered or otherwise lost. If it is not there, please allow support time to respond to your ticket before replying to it yourself again. The support queue sorts from longest time since activity, so replying to your own ticket before support does can delay then from responding.
GC3 uses Steamworks, so it requires Steam regardless of where it is purchased. GC2 didn't, so only keys specifically issued for use with Steam could be registered there.
Older keys (retail or direct) cannot be registered on Steam. But you can (as you have seen) download the whole game off our store site.
The downloads page has the latest version. There won't likely be any further updates, since WoM has been superseded by three subsequent games in the series by now.
Impulse has been owned by GameStop for several years now, and is no longer needed. You can just register with us here and download the latest version of the game from the downloads page after that.
Isn't that how all CCGs work? Other than the part about not actually having anything besides binary bits in the end, anyway. They're made to be money sinks.
GameStop will be the one to help with that--we don't handle third party games any longer.
The expansions have not been sold separately for a number of years now. Only the Ultimate edition is sold now, which includes both expansions for $20.
