That is the Gengsta standard, and has the Gengsta stamp of approval. Although your post doesn't fail the standard at all. I mean you used a hyperbole, your pride shows through the post. The subtle emphasis on subtle using deep, obtuse, and subtle. It's just wonderful to see someone writing with such skill! Please do come back and visit often!
Gengsta bought his crystal ball at walmart, I see.
It looks like I was completely wrong about this quote, and completely underestimated PBP on his ability to apparently say one thing and mean another. I thought I was doing well in that department. I mean on the surface I was writing about the Pirates of the Southern Seas, but the salient points of the post was against GROSS itself. Only after a day of careful thought, do I realize I was completely wrong. Just l

Vicible had his communication officer bring up the transmission from the Mid-Western Confederation. Along with the transmission was a list of individual ship data. "Sir, the Pirates of the Southern Seas have defeated the vanguard fleet of the Mid-Western COnfederation. According to their reports, the ships should be heading our way soon." Vincible updated his stellar charts with the new ship data sent over by the Mid-Western Confederation. The fast moving ships at the fore-fron

Well, I opened the can of worms and I should close it. The whole thing wasn't suppose to get to an individual level at all - just an empire wide comment. I'm retracting everything I said in my posts about individuals. Ignore them all. It was all a mistake.

Ok BlueSteel, we understand the ANZACs Empire isn't that sort of empire. But the Fellowship and GROSS are, and it is important for their survival to continue developing their theme. I have seen GROSS regress more and more into the get drunk and pass out theme rather than create new ideas that can be associated with pirates. You can continue to call them traitors or deserters, but repeating the same argument isn't going to get you anywhere, but less friends. I even took the easy open jab

Just commenting on how GROSS has steadily degenerated from a mainly a pirate empire into mainly a drunken empire. The many comments that I managed to spray about the forum uses the newest recruits to take a heavy jab at the current GROSS empire. Personally I think that culturally, GROSS has recessed over the past month or so, even as it retains its number 1 in the empire standings. I casted the new recruits to GROSS as breathing life back into a moribund group. For example:

Your response has no saving grace, Wormtongue(PBP). From what we see, you didn't mean that in the first place. If you did try to subtly make the joke, put much more effort or many magnitudes less. Your amazing subtly or amazing lack of is baffling. [Message Edited]

Hmm, Kitwarrior. Why do you think I made that comment? I wasn't really directing the comment only at them. Another moment for me to yell at people to read my posts more carefully. And then ask yourself, are you really pirates or just drunkards? Like I said to Wild Wombat. Look deeper, even deeper than your deepest. What do you mean your lungs are collapsing? Keep diving!

Yor AI has the simplest programming, and therefore one dimensional. With an early advantage, the Yor can do quite a bit of damage and dominate late game. Yor AI does find it difficult to win because its low priority of trade and willingness to get into many wars. If the Yors do not win early on, they are slated to lose later in the game.

Looking into the future>>>> These furry little creatures sure tire of being pirates real quick. Now they just lay around on their back drinking the booze out of the hold. Killa Koala finally gets up and shouts, "I'm mutinying. Who's with coming with me!"

Nice way of keeping it interesting here. You have to show some attitude and some creativity to attract those new members. New story lines, lots of posts, jokes, etc. Now back to the flame.... Damn those southern mutants. Those no good deserters. Maybe that mutation melted away their backbone and they can do is crawl around taking the pirate scraps. Drop Bear and Space Wombat are no more... Just a few sea urchins on the sea floor now. A nuisance to anyone not careful en

hey Yoda! The new Fellowship WotW installment finally resolved the meeting that you determined would happen in your first WotW contribution. Keep up the activity on the forums. It's what attracts members. Although I have to say the GROSS has been quite lackluster lately. The crazy mutants might finally breath some life back into a dead corpse.

For anyone that wants some preview, this next episode will deal almost exclusively with the new stellar arm. and more Ring of Power!! I was going to suggest an interesting random event to stardock, but since I am going to use it in the next installment, I won't be leaking any spoilers.

Fourth installment of the War of the Worlds is out. This one has Mad Prophet in it. Finally resolved that whole meeting Yoda bit :D . Next part should be finished early next week unless I feel like getting around to it earlier. To Ray: I am going to be making up quite a few system names and landmarks. Just wanted to see if I could adapt any existing ones to my use.

May Peace Be With You The Jedi Master Yoda docked his starfighter at Tolkien interstellar dock, but before Yoda could open the hatches, the dock operator motioned to him to remain in the ship. A large disc took hold of the ship and transferred the ship to a large spire that seemed to stretched endlessly towards the planet below. A simple warning to secure seat belts and to prepare for acceleration came over the communicator. A minute later the disc disappeared and small

looks like I wrote Gibbie into the story line a bit too early. Now who is going to culturally flip over from GROSS? Gotta think hard... Maybe we can flip another one pirate over to the Fellowship and use him instead. Quick try to make a pirate defect!

Enter A New Age, Enter A New Empire The Council Decides The elves returned from the lunch with a long term strategy - one that could be best implemented by a relatively conservative colonization plan. The galactic powers in the surrounding star systems were incredibly aggressive and war hungry. The best way to avoid these wars was to develop a strong defense in a wealthy but inaccessible part of the galaxy, and while the others exhausted themselves on the phasers of thei
