I believe the Colony flag enables it to colonize worlds, and the Transport flag enables it to carry personnel.

Your score is determined by raw score (added together) divided by the squareroot of the number of games you played. In your case 838/sqrt(2)=592.5555 rounded to 593. There are blocks of 30 days. When you have a game that drops past 30 days, you get 95% of the original score. -5% per month.
Thank you Lothmorg
You're welcome. Anytime. --- Have you considered joining the Galactic Guardians? :)
And no, you don't need a vote to allow them, but they CAN vote to disallow them. :(
Communication Theory Nano Electronics Industrial Theory Nano-Metal Composition Weapons Theory Phasers Instant Communication Advanced Engineering Tri Strontium Alloy 1D Phasing Large Scale Building Artificial Satellites Artificial Planets Terror Star I believe that is all. :HOT:
I'm not too sure. You can check out the GalCiv Writer. It might be mentioned in there. http://www.ctuit.com/bill/galciv.htm
Perhaps you have an older version? I first saw them in version 1.04, I believe.
Oh come on people! This is crazy. Let's talk about something interesting, like Quantum Foam or something. :HOT:
Oh sorry. There are no hacks or cheats (trainers) for GalCiv. Really, there is no need. If you want an easy game, set your AI opponents to Fool.
You will need to enable cheat in the options screen during a game. I don't belive it is available on the main menu.
I left the Metaverse before the empire wars hit, so I know nothing about that, and I don't really want to look into it either. I think the empires forum was a great idea and there is very little bickering going on over there these days. I can understand your position on this, as I can see the recruitment wars start whenever we see a non-aligned potential recruit post a message. But I can also understand that everyone has a right to post here in the main forum. Maybe t
Hmm. Some people don't like empire threads, and I don't like mushrooms. Am I calling for a ban on all mushrooms? No. I pick them away and forget about them. It's pretty simple to ignore a thread you don't like. Seems a shame that some chose to keep all empire talk out of the main forum, away from the new players who may be interested in them, but not know of their existence. Well, I'm off to join the activity and excitement of the empires and leaving this dead forum to you
Why even provide the "gigantic" option if it's not playable? ... has these unplayable "gigantic" options
Yeah. Gigantic is unplayable! :SURPRISED: What?!! I've played almost 200 of them?! I guess it IS playable. ;p
It's all random. If the AI is hopelessly outgunned, it will consider surrendering. To whom, seems to still be a mystery.
As long as it's still named English.str, it should work in GalCiv. You can also right click on it and choose open with, or if that option is not available, hold down the shift key and right click it (and look for open with).
Not possible with the current game. Certainly wonders or achievements can do what you want. Check out the GalCiv Writer http://www.ctuit.com/bill/galciv.htm
I am finding it hard to keep all my people happy eveb with everything
You know, the first time I played this game I went and colonized all the planets. Couldn't figure why moral was so low and I was losing money like crazy. Then someone said not to colonize any planets lower than PQ 15. My eyes opened and the game was FUN. :HOT: Just wondering if you missed that too. Don't forget to change your Tax slider too. Setting your taxes too high w
I think empires are not for me. 'Nuf said.
Not everybody wants to be part of an empire. I agree. The offer of help is always there though. So feel free to drop by one of the empire threads and ask one of these days. 'Nuf said. ;)
I'll have to check that out. I've not gotten that far yet. I usually keep it in the can, and read it when I'm relaxing. I can make an issue last until I get the next one.
Are they planning a 1.21 update? I was under the impression that 1.20 was the last because of AP.
If you are having problems with the game as it is, you can "dumb down" the AI in the opening selection screen. The AI rankings are: Incredible (very hard) Genius Intelligent Bright Normal Sub-Normal Beginner Fool (very easy) I have no idea when Altarian Prophecy will be released.
I crush the I-League as soon as they show up. Always the Kwilisians (or however they're spelled). When I get the message, off go the transports. :) They can ruin your game rather quickly.
take over the minor races very early in the game
I find that keeping the minors alive sometimes spells the difference between losing and winning.
wars are won by attacking planets, not ships.
This can not be stressed enough. When you are at war, do bother with the AI ships. Go for their planets.
Warning! Cheese tactic! ************************** If you destroy the AI's survey vessels, they will not make another one and you can grab all the anomalies yourself. ************************** End cheese tactic. This works in 1.13.
