We support 64bit Windows. In fact we prefer it, everyone on the team is running 64bit. We are a 32bit process but 64bit operating systems can run 32bit applications (the opposite isn't true). Most of the applications you and I are running on our 64bit OS's are 32bit applications. Yeah I saw that also and it might just as well be removed from the game because there's better things to use instead of a 25% chance of blind working. In my experience in life a blind person is BLIND there's no 25% 50% 75% if you are TRUELY BLIND then it's 100% bub the rest are just near sighted or far sighted or putting on to get free money in the parks. ;)
I don't care for Steam because every damn little thing that HAS to load to run things adds boot overhead, slows things down while it spins in the background, periodically updates itself in a malignantly resource-sucking way, and has the potential to go flooey, sucking up valuable time on trouble-shooting that could be better spent playing. Every background program adds one more annoying step to trouble-shooting. Once u

Does this mean, that Stardock wants us to use a version of windows they are not supporting?
As I said when Elemental:War of Magic first came out 3 years ago 64 bit OS was NOT supporte
There's your problem NVidia. ;) Get an ATI RADEON video card and you'll become a happy camper. ;) Oh you have other issues I see as well Win8...64bit OS so many things to go wrong with that system.
I think they should write into the difficulty code that the ai will have a higher chance of taking the "wealthy" trait the higher the difficulty one selects. Practically automatic on INSANE. Either that or rewrite the wealthy trait because right now it's just too overpowering with pioneers being created from gold.
Multiplayer is notoriously buggy unless it's coded by someone who knows what they're doing. You don't want to start getting into a game with some friends and then get the dreaded out of sync error. Forget for the moment the actual market for multiplayer. That's something that can wax and wane depending on the alignment of the planets, never mind how good the multiplayer experience is. But if the multi
Yeah I see what you did. You TRIED to SQUAHEEZE a deal out of STEAM for your FE game (you bought from Stardock) now but the deal on STEAM was for the STEAM version of FE sort of a here's a neat little cheap gift to give you for buying FE on STEAM. Now you're SCREWED and you want some kind of restitution for your FAILURE to get a cheap copy of the map pack. ;)
I had discovered this happening actually AFTER I had hit auto-explore for my group. I'd click on a spot I wanted them to go at the start of the next turn and then they'd go 1 more spot where THEY wanted to go due to auto-explore. So, I Realized early it was auto-exlplore that had taken over and once I clicked it again it stopped. So, just an accidental push of explore caused this issue I'm sure. ;)
Adding unrest penalties with lots of cities is sure to make conquest a negative at some point. This is an inherent result of the mechanic; it cannot be avoided.
WRONG! Because just like in Civilization you don't have to TAKE POSSESSION to conquer the map. You merely just RAZE the cities that cause you problems. No maint no revolts no unrest. ;) Plus if you take the SLAVE trait all the more
I don't see it being needed as there's always waste in production if you've ever worked in manufacturing. A lot of it is human waste but it's waste just the same. No, not that kind of waste but humans taking extra breaks, going to the restroom before their break then going again after their break. THen their bs session waste of time until a supervisor or management walks near or by. There's a lot of TIME wasted in building somethi

I'm thankful they haven't wasted TIME and RESOURCES on multiplayer yet. Galactic Civilization II proved we don't need a multiplayer aspect to enjoy a great game. It also proved by putting ALL the RESOURCES into a SINGLE SOLO playing game that an AI can FINALLY be produced that is challenging to MOST humaan players. I perfer this method of production and hope it continues out of Stardock et al. ;)

I tried it on my Netbook and it crashed and crashed. Wouldn't work at that resolution. Best bet is to get some laptop that will handle 1024x728 minimum and then it will probably work.
Whatever happened to that statement Brad made about "Gamers Bill of Rights"? I thought he was highly against sites like Steam? When did he turn Benedict Arnold?

Yeah those shooters and simulators are for epeeners anyways I have no use for shooters or simulators. That's why I always run a mid level video card. I been looking at a 7850 or 7870 though for my next upgrade.
