Howdy jcg,...I'm suprised it wouldnt work at all.I gave up and resorted to the method these other guys used,it just do creates afew stretching issues .Oh well,no biggie,just confusing.

Hi apocalypse... I can get images to show there no problem.I just cant get .tga transparency to work.I got magic pink to work but that just looked terrible.the attributes for translucency are there,your given 4 choices.They just arn't working correctly.This could be another situation of "its in SS but WB4 dosnt support it properly".There are lots of sections with glyph attributes but i wonder how many of them are worth pursuing.I've wasted a third of my skinning time to stuff that was nearly imp

Thanks pictoratus,...either the places or programs list Dark Mist.I looked at some i thought had glyphs(one of them yours)but they just had the image as part of the bmp background.Is this the only way to do it?Or is this another example of "its there but it isnt spported by WB"?Ther really should be some documentation for stuff like this.Dark your aware of how long it took for me to solve the disappearing shellstyle glyphs,and here i go again.

It was very frustrating!Now they work perfect.(i cant look at a white background,too bright ,hurts my weeny eyes.Plus screen flicker is more noticable on white.)

Problem solved!The top left pixel of your glyph image(shellstyle large whatever)must be exactly the same as your window background color.That was tough to figure out but it worked.

Well...got the default images to show.But if i change the graphics on one it disappears even tho it has the exact same name,dimensions and image attributes.(index at 8 bits)If i change the window background color they all go away.(talking about the large shellstyle pics at bottom right)If i delete the window background color attribute i get them all back after i reload the skin from display properties page.It wont work from the systray.I know this is possible because i loaded "tallyhawk" into SS
