Interesting article, which makes it a good article. I am glad to see you understand the difference between atheist and agnostic. As to your experience at the church, if you remember and understand what they believe then you should understand why they reacted and treated you that way. There is no expection of reward on their part based on how you received them. As to the rest, well you could be on your way to enlightenment or simply content with your

If I were licensed, yes, I could. Could you be the person who sat in a tree outside my clinic and shot me for it? Tsk, tsk. not sure where this is coming from. Some wild assumption I guess. <TABLE cellpaddin

So, a child is born premature and lives in ICU. Just prior to the premature birth the child is a fetus and thus can be murdered. Now, however, since it is ex utero (however, not viable by itself) if I run into the room and smash its' skull I will be arrested. The only difference being the physical location and the connection to the mother. Many full term babies are born with difficulties that require them to have artificial support, are they not

"Short answer sgsmitty, yes." Which I find pathetic. I suggest you consider why you think a child in the womb is not a child. Forget the law, think for yourself. Why?

Obviously once a child is born and you've decided to keep it, you've made two choices to retain the child, one, you didn't abort it, and two you didn't put it up for adoption. I think two points of choice are enough, but if you believe we should have more than fine. There are choices other than murder for a unwanted pregnancy as well. The emotional, financial, etc. burden, and I don't use burden in the negative sense, of having a child is

You believe that a fetus is a child, I do not, therefore it is not murder to me. That pretty much negates any of your points. You believe it is murder, that means you would never have an abortion, I respect that, but the law says a fetus is not a person, and therefore abortion is not murder. Oh and SGsmitty, as long as the law is on my side, I think it's "pathetic" of you to keep calling people that. Ah but the winds of change are a blowing. The *

What about the child being subjected to years of psychological trauma due to the environment they are born in. Although these situations are not as common (thankfully) Not giving women to right to chose opens up those loopholes. Oh, so then the child should die?<

You almost have the answer..... You see, there is this organization called the Illuminati that is controlling the world and consists of many powerful people in high places.....

What about rape and incest? Should we turn a cold shoulder to those situations and just pretend they don't happen? Don't we live in a free democratic country? You find it pathetic so I take it you have dealt directly with abortion in your life. I thought only God could judge people but yet you judge why is that?

You clearly do not understand the what the Act says. Otherwise why would abortion doctors flock to capital hill to raise their fears? The act, in and of itself changes nothing. What was interesting and sad was what was said during the hearing.

Abortion is murder plain and simple. A recent article that was widely reported last week had one doctor who was complaining that the Unborn Victims of Violence Act could be used against abortion rights. He gave evidence including this statement: "Carhart said at least once a month, an entire fetus is expelled from the mother during a D&E he is performing. "The fetuses are alive at the time of d

sgsmitty64, do you actually have anything to prove, or do you simply like to say that everything everyone else says has no validity? How do you know that the Phd had no proof? Did you take classes with him? How can you prove that we weren't once all (basically) monkeys as the scientists say? And, how, after saying that people aren't thinking for themselves, can you throw in the bible? If there was ever any brainwashing in the world, it came from t

Why do I say that about toes? An orthopedic specialist once told me that. He was explaining that evolution changes our bodies to adapt to how we live. You can cut all your toes off except your big toe and still be able to balance. Since he has a Phd in (basically) feet, I believe that it wasn't just his opinion. Can you prov
