A interesting term 'griefers'. But I like it. I have met them many times. My particular favorites are the ones that lurk on religion newsgroups and other forums spewing their rhetoric whether it be pro-abortion, evolution, anti-religion, etc. Cowards/terrorists is another good word as well. Sometimes though it isn't there a fine line between being a griefer and someone who is simply debating? I would imagine that for some, anyone who disagree
LOTR and The Passion
Every post of yours makes you look more and more like an ignorant idiot. Keep 'em coming! This, coming from the mouth (er, keyboard) of Bulby. Clear example of the pot calling the kettle black LOL Have not heard much Bulb in awhile, I guess he has realized no one cares.
They marched on Dublin Castle (British HQ in Ireland). I think some people died (not sure). The difference is that the target was not the peasants in the street. I'm using the song as an example of how martyrs are remembered long after their death. Sometimes they didn't achieve much in life but, as long as they die heroically, then they'll be fondly remembered. True, but Yassin did not die heroically for his cause, he enlisted youth a
First, I have never heard of Robert Emmet and I imagine that most have not. So his place in history is questionable. Did this Robert guy rebel against the British forces or did he attack British citizens as well? I would wager he was a bit more civilized than the terrorists. Second, it has been discussed many times the creation of a Palestinian state. I think it would be a great idea. But would it stop the violence? I think it is pretty
Was'nt Yassin a terrorist?
Brad: I understand the analogy very well, although blogs usually do not have a rating system that lets the reader know what is expected. As for the arrogance, I think that is a trait that most software developers have although I am not sure why. I am a software developer as well and my wife has maintained for years that I can be one of the most arrogant people around, in certain circles. This was especially true when I was younger, but as
Your honesty is appreciated. As one of those #4 fanatical religious types I usually try to avoid arguing against evolutionists by attempting to replace one flight of fancy with another. But just as irritating and somewhat of a variation of #5 is those that troll the religion forum to dispute the validity of religion, particular christian. One would think that in a religion forum various religious issues and topics would be discussed as opposed to th
If I were a conspiracy theorist, which I am not, I could argue that Bush has arranged for private oil companies (with which he would, of course, be associated) to assume control of the Iraqi oil, in which case they would control even more of the world's supply, in which case they could collude to drive the prices even higher.
Well now that you mention it, you see there is this group called the illuminati that controls the world, and
If you remind US before 9/11 and do the comparison with Bush, you could see that Al quaida did influence american policy too...
Of course they did by drawing military attention. And if they attack again I would bet the USA would show even more resolve.
I agree with Brad. If we were as evil as some think then we would be paying about $0.20 a gallon for gas because we would own the Iraqi oil fields.
Nah, I like the single player. Who has time to sit online and play for hours on end?
France hates the United States because France is a wannabe. Hate is a strong word, I think it is more envy and jealousy. They do recognize their position and what the US has done for them. At my previous company there was a Frenchman from our Paris office who was visiting for a couple of weeks. One d
Three sentences without mention of Jesus! How did you manage it? Hard to imagine since I pepper all of my other sentences with the name. <TD
Believe me, I harbor no great love for France or the French, but this "freedom fries" business was horseshit. A embarassment they were. Excellent post by the way. They made
Eh. My style doesn't lend itself to soapbox-style oration. I prefer to get together with the other piranhas and swarm the Cub Scouts swimming in the lake. Sort of like a terrorist blogger? <TD class="mb-Bod
Interesting reading. Let's see if Bubly shows up and slams this religion, or is it just limited to christian.
Ah, good old Smitty stops by to say exactly the same thing about every one of my posts while providing no new input on the topic or the alleged virtues of Christianity. Would that be feeding my pearls to swine? As Sherye said, create you
If I ask questions at bible study, the answers they give me just creates more questions... what does one do when they are faced with this? I guess just not think about it.. falls under the " even though you cant see the wind , you know its there" catagory I guess.. Sometimes it is who you ask that creat
So you've pledged your faith and the fate of your soul to the wisdom of this book, but you don't understand it. At least you didn't make such a commitment to The Catcher in the Rye. Ah ole Bulby the famed Christian hater is trolling the rel
You may not be able to placate them, but you can negotiate. We had fifty years of peace with the Soviet Union. We did have smaller wars--but there was no World War III.
It was the THREAT of total destruction that kept the peace.
And, yes, 9/11 - or most of it - was an INSIDE JOB.
LOL this is the funniest thing I have read today! Go find your aliens in Roswell.
I didn't start it, I promise...
