Killa, American Democracy at a national level is pretty depressing. I'm a moderate who has been registered in both parties and supported candiates on both sides in the same election - so I don't have a particular bias. Basically, the US has roughly equal amounts of voters in either party. SO politics is a matter of not pissing off your base (they won't vote for the opposition, but they won't vote if you do) and hedging middle of the road policy issues so that you can pick up

Hello.. is this thing on. Noticed that everytime I submit a game, by difficulty level shield increments by one. Don't know if it's the recalc, but I was Tough on Tuesday, Painful on Wednesday, Crippling on Thursday, and if Mrs. Pax falls asleep early again, Masochistic on Friday... It's a sunny -10 Celsius today, but the weathermen says the cold weather is coming tonight - bummer, I was planning on going to the beach tomorrow. I guess I'll just have to take it out on the Arce

Kazzryl, You probably could become nuetral or even good if the game were to last long enough, but on a small map it's VERY hard to change your alignment once it's been established. It's okay to post a couple of evil games though... Happy Raiding, Cypher ~SDC~

Hey, I'm back online - though I was only able to post the last of three games. Hurley - I uninstalled GalCiv and Stardock Central and then reinstalled Stardock Central and downloaded GalCiv. It works so much better! For the rest of you, by doing this I didn't bother with the multimedia - which I'm see before ;) - and the game runs significantly faster. I'm tough... that's what I try to tell people anyway. I do think the averages are a bit off - but hey, the logos are pretty

Cari- Thank you for all of your assistance. Alas, it didn't work, I tried the original login, then I tried making GalCiv available to all users - no change. I then attempted to 'Repair' the installation, it then updated from Stardock Central - but I still could post. I uninstalled the game and restored it from an archive... Galactic Civ is running so much faster now!! I tried copying three versions of the same game over(Save folder and corresponding .sav file) They all cras
