What do I need to do to get a blue smiley face? I now have twice as many good games as evil games... I just can't get rid of my bored expression. So maybe I'll just keep yelling till I'm blue in the face...

My wife insisted on watching the wedding of two reality show stars last night so I got a game in.... the American networks are focusing on shows with minor celebreties they invent - so they don't have to pay them. I'm cynical enough to say that this doesn't effect the overall quality of the shows -- unfortunately, this particular series is edited so badly that it's nearly unwatchable. I gotta check out Battlestar, good suggestion!

Have a great weekend with the family, Wombat! I'm having a hard time motivating myself to start another game. Killa's Novels thread has gotten me interested in reading instead.... I may do a game a week until the next release... Cheers, Cypher ~SDC~

Harel -- Cypher Pax would be a great Pirate... Perhaps, a Dropbear Ranger Pirate. That's the ticket - a giant rampaging dropbear pirate who hunts hunters and those who waste beer. Cypher's interests include drinking, building things, and smashing things with his huge furry rear (not things he builds though). Cypher is generally fearless, though he is afraid of his wife. Cheers!

Check out the NEW, IMPROVED MWC Statbot http://idle.thehueys.com/midwest/statbot/ The Special Forces is kicking butt. We're #1 in two out of three of the Statbots Top Ten Categories. We're way ahead of the Fellowship in both Total Metaverse Points Submitted and Maso Games. The 'average' Special Forces member has submitted nearly 1,000,000 metaverse points - though this is due mostly to Ginata, Jaws, and Wombat. Good show, Cypher

Matthew, Don't let us keep you from rejoining the Fellowship. As much as the Special Forces would like to nab #1, we don't want to keep you out of the empire of your choosing. Besides we were 750k back a few weeks ago, so another 200 k or so still looks possible. ;) The mopping up phase is the primary reason I avoid big maps.... Glad to see you back, Cypher

Piers, Prior to joining the Posse, Cypher was a pirate with a knack for inventing things and getting in trouble with his missues. Jaws helped form my identity as a Bundy Bear. http://www.bundabergrum.com.au/stuff_commercials.html The classic drop bear commercial is gone now, but Phone Number is pretty good. I received my Drop Bear training for Killa (whose name was once Drop Bear). Drop Bears enjoy smashing things by falling on them. Cypher is a cartoonish character, so

DLA- We're a small collection of action heroes than a society of warriors. Don't your kids have the Cypher Pax Dropbear Aeriel Assault Action Figure? Or the Ginata Mistress of Disguise Holovid, or the Superspy Jaws Plushie? Or even the Hurley's Wine Cellar Secret Command Center Playset? How about Pier's Brewing Kit for Kiddies? Or Samuri's Bens Nerf Katana? ...Jeff's Desilvia's Jetpack and Water Cannon? I'm going to file a complaint to Wombat -- our marketing and branding c

Blackmatter - Wombat had sent you a email note that he was going to forward on to us. But participating in our forum is a good way to get an invite. We haven't really had an experience where a new player has wanted to join us. We are looking for players who contribute to the forums, particularly stories. Playing the game and submitting them to the metaverse is also a good thing. ;) We aren't looking at getting really large, if you notice we are one of the few large

Harel, Good to see you back... I thought Barad-dur was our timeshare resort in the Fellowship land. Starbase good -- we can have our own party palace. We'd need a large starbase to hold Hurley and Jaws's winecellars. -Cypher

Thanks for all the well wishes! I just cranked out game 7 for the week!! I am now #6 place in the Special Forces, which is worth #13 spot in the Metaverse. For our non-maso players, please go look you-know-where -and read my M.M.C.G. thread, Please either let me know what you think (THERE) or by posting a game... ;) Cheers, Cypher

Two favorites: I like the one when you're evil and another evil empire asks you to help defend your mutal tortue-loved ways. My other favorite is the one where you get accussed of acting unilaterally when you refuse to give in to a tribute demand.

Actually, this frequently happens with minors. If they have cash and their power is a joke next to yours, you can ask for whatever they have... there money will stop when you kill them. You do run a danger of having too much cash, which means a '0' score if you do this a lot though... Happy Raiding, Cypher

Ebolav, You will only get a option to submit if you on online the turn the game ends. Fortunately, there is automatic save game at that point - so if you happen to be offline, you can restore the game when you are online. Cheers, Cypher

Welcome bpayie- I'm played around with some of the mods, mostly events. They have their plusses and minuses... Generally, the more popular things in the library have been downloaded more often. Have fun, Cypher

Okay, assuming deciding between strategies is too difficult, there are some things the AI could do to make it better decisions. 1. There is rarely a good reason to give a resource starbase. Unless the resource starbase is in a sector with an opponent's planet - they shouldn't be traded. 2. The should prioritize developing starbases, particularly resource starbases. 3. The most popular stategy is culture bombing with no military. Stardock should realize this. As

I just laid down some suppressive fire with 2 more games. I'm shooting for a iron paw-like 8 games in a week. The ringworms are gonna wake up so, so everyone try and get a game in if you can -- we may be able to sneak up on them. Cheers, Cypher
