Just a quick question to those in the know . . . If I have a saved game with a 'super-duper' good starting position can I play that game from scratch over and over again or just twice submission wise . . . ?
Thats a good question! It seems cruel but leaving one or two of your enemies colonies to survive in an out of the way place can give you the time you need to tech' all the way to Beyond Human. Also sometimes you can have a Close relationship with another civilization without giving them an Alliance and just let them hang around. Being careful not to culture flip thier colonies can sometimes be a bit tricky.
I'm a commodore . . . oh yes I see off-course I am . . um that seems a little silly considering I'm an outside chance of reaching 100 G's by the end of next year . . . I could't help but notice your last official game Staffa . . . 26 plus K, thats a biggie! I guess the next BIG event will be watching GROSS eclipse the one million barrier! I bet it will happen on August the 13th . . .

This seems as good a place as I can think to post this wacky stuff. . . English is actually my second language too so I wasn't amused by anything other than the fact that on Calkwalk you can practicaly sit back and just click the mouse button and watch the other races beat each other up while they worship you like a god bearing you gifts and giving you lotsa free juju! Well Hi there, What they may be talking about is the fact that science vessels, rangers and the like can add things to themselves specificaly and to your whole race as well when they find stuff when exporing. The common scenario where you keep having a plannet flip back to you that you don't particularly want annoys me a little. I hate having to destroy colonies but what else can you do?
Darth . . . honest to goodness I'm suprized to hear that. I probably forgot to mention it never seems to happen on 'tough' or above in difficulty setting (does occur but rarely). Try playing a game on normal and add a touch of luck then just devote yourself to research and social. Build no military at all and ignore all early attempts at extorsion!
