I tried both as well and boom...crash everytiime...even get that little of a music hiccup which to me means CTD!!

Im in the same boat and hoping they will post what the fix was. I made a post myself that turned into 2 posts! Not sure how that happened other than the first post I made never showed so I made another and then boom it appeared...sigh.

Troops upgrading in FE Beta Elemental Forums

Was wondering if anyone really knows how this works. If I make a spearman when I get the tech and then choose for them to upgrade when the next better spear or armor comes out, I do see when I get leather armor the option to upgrade them. However, when I get boar spear it doesnt seem like they will upgrade. Im also wondering will I be able to upgrade Spearman all the way to end game wps and armor if I edit the current spearman that I have and keep selecting the upgrade optio

Ahh nice about the dynasties. Ill have to try and track down where the gestation period is as well and for the record...thats a strange way of putting "having children or offspring". Makes me think of alien or something!

Ive noticed in a few file folders, stuff for marriage, like in event music folder. Does that mean we can make marriage type quests and then be able to have a dynasty? I was one who really liked the dynasty and thought it was pretty neat to have your kids fighting with you...or against!!

Im thinking its brittle because you expanded so fast and quickly, that you havnt had the time to build the resources and army you would need to hold it. So if you had multiple opponents who could thrust thru even a single area, your empire could fall quickly. On the other hand, if you can hold it and reinforce it before they attack the game could be yours.

Any idea how big the upgrade will be? Im just curious because ill be out in the oil patch by the time it hits and I dont get very good speed out there. Hopefully on this update, ill be able to use the update vs the full DL.

I finally was able to DL the complete game and Im still having crashes so I guess Im outta ideas why my FE wont run. I did update to a new Nvidia driver thanks to GW II telling me the one I had been using wasnt good. I also went, as directed to paste bin and made this report up, but it never game me a link to my error report. Ill just have to paste the page I see it on when im there and hope that helps. As in the other thread, ive updated my graphics driver, run virus

Im prolly alone in this, but Id still love to see the ability to craft your magical items. I dont see why we cant if we research items and then are able to put spells on them basically. Or, you could have certain NPCS, who allow you to do this and if you get certain ones, they can work together and are able to do much more than alone. Granted, this would prolly cause some people to be upset if the AI got these NPC's, but just like in RL, thats how it goes. I know m

Ive DL'd the full version too, but it doesnt run. I think since my connection is so spotty, that I get file corruption. Ive used Flashget too, and it doesnt seem to help much, though at least I dont lose the process with 1.5minutes to go...let me tell ya...that pissed me off haha. Ill try again and Im glad you are getting to try it out. At the worst, Ill be able to DL this when I get home in a few days. Strange thing is, my Civ 5 Gods and Kings also doesnt work atm

Id still love to know what everyone else did to update via the upgrade beta and not the full version. Why do theirs work and we get this strange error because its looking for another place. Funny thing is though, is that path does look familiar but im not sure why. Ive checked my entire C: drive and its not there, but I seems very familiar to me. Does anyone know the full path of it? Should I try and make it up and see what happens? I can play the previous
