WB skinning tip in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

Since a while i found a little graphic bug on almost all skins : it's about how the Menu Item Image is displayed in the case of "Favorites". In section "More Programs Menu" there's two sub sections: the image background and the item. In all skins the item is well displayed when you scroll "All Programs" (i mean left side and right side of it), but when you scroll the "Favorites" link, generally the right side of the item doesn't feat well with the background image. Euh, what's wrong with your shot ??? Anyway with BMP's if you need to use the magic pink colour you have to anable transparency but pay attention to DISABLE translucy (and if BMP's are TGA's converted files, you have to change the tranparent colour used in TGA by the Magic Pink RGB 255 0 255)

I thouhgt bootskin or loginstudio where disabling the numeric pad on startup. In fact that's Win XP which is not loading numeric pad by default as Win98 did. Here's a tip to get the "Verr Num" function activated on startup and/or reboot : Run Regedit Go to HKEY_USERS/.DEFAULT/Control Panel/Keyboard Double click on value InitialKeyboardIndicators and then modify it to 2 (you should go back to 0 to unactivete it) Do the same thing to HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Ke

How to install ObjectDock's objects ?? When downloading some it's usual in a zip file. So where to unzip the file ??? The default installation of ObjectDock gives me several folders : ObjectDock\Backgrounds, ObjectDock\Crystallized, ObjectDock\Docklets, ObjectDock\LaST, ObjectDock\Themes. You thought well Koasati, but as i've had a big DD crash with a big Motherboard crash, i did a big upgrade for a fast card + fast processor + fast DDR + disk ... XP (it's just since 3 or four days ...) But i'm still running (at least for a while) win98 also (in dual boot)

for 1°) LogonStudio when activated do the same when closing session ... 2°) i've found how to do it for LogonStudio by editing the theme.ini and replace all texts in my language, but it's not really fun to do it for each Logon ... I think it would be fairly easy for Stardock to add an option to switch to a language, and pretty sure people from different contries would send the translation

1°) Bootskin when (after ?)loading disable the "Ver num" function and switch it off. Is there something to do to keep "Verr num" as it initial state (on by default for me) ? 2°) Bootskin and logonStudio get messages in English. Is there a way to have them in our own language ?
