walt walt, are you using winxp? right click on your taskbar, go to Toolbars >> Quick Launch is that what you were looking for? you can right click on the quick launch tool bar and Open Folder, and then drag shortcuts of your programs in there. If you dont have a quick launch, Stardock's Object Desktop has programs like Launchpad, Objectdock, and right click. Object Dock also has a free version.

anyone else having problems opening some links and drawing some websites? ex, www.reuters.com .. get in 2 links deep and ran in to link problems, had to right-click 'open' link, then the page i opened wasn't drawn properly. no text.. ad's duplicated.. tables messy.. said the pages was done loading, too.

i'd say the most useful information is its drive, size, peak usage, and fragmentation. FileSize is obviously the page file size but CurrentUsage, PeakUsage seem to be relative to AllocatedBaseSize Also i do not see where Fragmentation is noted.. although fragmentation can be accessed via the user-built application in the article. My Blue Tooth Places or Bluetooth Information Manager ( dell) will shop up when your computer is booted and your bluetooth device is activated. Turn off your bluetooth to get rid of it. I believe, because it is summoned by your hardware status, it will always be sitting on top of whatever Object Desktop is doing

i have some widescreen walls in the Wincust library, as well. They are there, but you have to read the descriptions - some artists include wide formats in their package but preview normal aspect ratios.

after seeing the comments unfold from that article, i take back what i said earlier.. the review is in fact doing more harm than good. The link on this article leads to a great referance on how to understand/use Virtual Memory, and also includes info on how you can use Window's built-in ability to create a guage which monitors the page file more thoroughly than task manager. We have widgets that monitor CPU usage, hard drive space, and ram - but i don't see any in the library that addresses the page file - which is more important in guaging available resources and system taxation than

I'm glad for the outside opinion review, but he should have checked for some of the more popular and slicker skins how well-made the skin is affects the performance of the software.. example, butch's ports always have trouble with different applications because they arn't skinned properly. i agree that your walls are aesthetic and more importantly, functional; and although a common wall style the soft swirly color style is in fact not common here on wincust. Not buggy for me either. Your access says 'current customer' so i'm assuming you're using a legal copy.. update your vid drivers, try uninstalling wb4 if you still have it, put 5 on by itself, and if you've still got trouble might wunna email stardock about it

i'm interested in knowing if Vista will have better font/character support, and if it will have a more powerful clip board. Although Xp can use PS and OT fonts natively, it has 0% font management. Also curious about the customization.. i'd like to customize dialog boxes/the shell in the way Enhanced Dialog works - but have it native to the OS. Also wondering if it will have better DVD burning capabilities, and enhanced zip usage.

careful, guys. your holloween skin came real close to the day (and aparently was very sneaky - i never noticed it had become available). a lot of people gear up for holidays months in advance, especially with skinning. some time ago stardock IRC'ers were throwing around ideas for the future of desktop GUI. My thought was that future GUI's would be 3-dimensional, items layered in the way that they can be pushed forward and back and swung around.
