i joined this way too late.. but uh.. wouldn't the earth's magnetic field deflect what energy we sent at it? it blocks out much of the sun's, afterall.. if you were to send similar radiation back from the moon it would just bounce off and make pretty colors. bush just wants to get to the moon again so Pepsi can pay him to put a billboard there.

im not gonna get in the middle of you two.. i've always used ati cards and i'm on a radeon 8500 right now.. my work machines have used nvidias and i've found them to be fast but not be as 'user friendly' as the radeons. they are more picky.

oh hell, travis.. i'd be listening to some chill music, doing some work or just relaxing, and i'd get this abnoxiously loud "buhDING!" on four sides of me.. my heart would stop for 2 seconds, and when i could see again i'd be totaly shaken up i took off every system sound except for incomming aim's, but i made that one something real soft that i can hear but it doesn't interrupt what i'm listening to.

i have msn 8.. wonder why it came up as six. after i posted that i noticed my regular explorer runs at 29,000. not all that big a deal. i end up using both anyhow, msn's browser doesn't support ftp folder view. could be worse, we could all be on netscape.

i'm fortionate to live in the city.. when i have friends come over, even those from the 'burbs, i'm glad we have subways to take them home, or they are within walking distance. if all else fails, i'm glad we have taxi cabs. hearing stories like that really makes me upset. i hear all the time how someone under the influence of drugs or alcohol kills someone and they walk away fine. its with such cruel irony that i was able to turn my back on the belief in some ever loving god. sorry if t

sometimes the best sound schemes are the ones you peice together yourself go to google and search for Invader Zim.. put the 'Doom' song as your windows start up sound. maybe 'sounds' is a new forum? i could see that getting carried away, though. a lot of skinners put sounds into their windowblinds sets, like X

i went from a celeron to an athlon, but the jump was too big (400mhz celeron to 1.53athlon xp) to accurately compare the two. but i'll tell you my little HP pavilion celeron was a WORKHORSE. this was a computer i got in '98, that i ended up maxing out (GO 256mg ram!!), dual video, dvd player - and for a while it just took anything i threw at it. till photoshop 7, anyway. i later bought a Toshiba laptop with a celeron.. when i took that

... their skin color would have anything to do with it. a couple of teens in my hometown got stopped trying to carjack a vehical, which was to be used for a mass shooting spree in south jersey. they were white. it was national news. they are going to jail. end of story. why this did not make national news, in my guess, is because the government tends to keep these things on the down low. it would spark hysteria. for the same reasons, our national threat level is not l

i get MSN access as part of my ISP's DSL package..so i just started using it in the past couple weeks, and .. well.. i love it!!! everything about it. the msn look is pretty good, i think. but i have more to compare it to then just the msn.com page itself.. with MSN access you get integrated address books and email all that jazz and the graphics are similar throughout. for being a webpage, the graphics and the usability of it makes it feel like i'm using a program off of my own harddriv

i joined this way too late, but.. god damn, good luck guys and i hope my support of our justice system pays off. its like Java vs Microsoft all over again.. but i hope the jury is smart enough to realize TGT is stealing away from YOUR profit, not the other way around.. making wrong trying to sue the right. and yes, i've heard of the cases where a burglar sues a homeowner since the burglar got shot invading someones home <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/notsure.gif" border=0 ALI

hehe i'm sure its figuritive. the key has a magnetic code that unlocks the meter. put a credit card swiper on there with a keypad and it'll be like gasing up your car. ah, the future.. when EVERYTHING is wired through the internet....

store them in the refrigerator and they'll retain their charge for a much longer period of time. all electronics and most storage cells (car batterys are an exception, i believe, because they use liquid acid to retain a charge) work better in the cold. it all comes down to atoms.
