It is like a juggler. if he has 5 balls rotating, he has three of them are in the air at any given time. Sure they eventually come down, but by that time three more have moved into the air. That is money that is basically not benefitting anyone but the government itself. It is like a big leach on the system.

Outside entertainment and academia, you won't find that many wealthy successful liberals. So why is that? I think it's because conservatives deal with the world as it is rather than how they wish it was. Maybe it's because liberals aren't interested in creating wealth. Maybe they are more interested in

Hate the President and the current administration all you want, but stop blaming the economy on the President. A president is either responsible for the economy or he isn't. History in our country clearly points out that we hold the president responsible for the condition of the economy, regardless of

If universal health care is so bad then why do the people who live in Canada, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, Norway, United Kingdom, etc., all have a greater life expectancy than those who live in the US? One of my favorites isn't really a quote so much as an "old saying", but it's logic is undeniable. "If you ever see a turtle on top of a fence post, you know that it didn't get there by itself." For some reason that always makes me think of GWB.

I don't see what business it is of some outside group to decide how much someone should have to pay for a product or service. That's a matter between the service provider and the customer. It’s society’s business. It’s generally accepted that the common interest is greater than the interest of a person

Hey "bakerstreet" lets boil it down a bit further shall we" Who would you rather have a beer with in or out of a bar? Personally I'd pick GW "anyday". Ahhh yes, and that's what really matters in a president isn't it? Good to see you are evaluating the subject objectively.

I challenge someone to find a right wing Internet community that is even remotely in the same league as Democratic Underground. I suspect that will be easy if Kerry gets elected.

Las Vegas is a nasty place to be down and out. If it's at all possible I would recommend trying to make it to some other city or town. Sell as much stuff as you can and get some bus tickets to somewhere else. Good luck.

So, evidently I'm either a prude or I post embarrassing "porn". Is there a happy median? Should I change what I'm posting? Any ideas? Anytime you look for personal validation outside yourself you inevitably set yourself up for pain and manipulation by others. One of the most important things people can

3/ Do you consider drug use to be free will and experimentation, or do you view it as a pointless indulgence or weakness ?. Both. Drugs are a tool, so it's up to you on how you use it. Drugs have had a very positive affect on my life.
