The issue with the units sounds like a desync/internet issue. Faster and more stable connections should probably fix that.

Unless the age ratings are increased as a result it seems a little ineffectual to me. It's a complicated topic for sure though.
I do think RTS players are less likely to invest in newer titles for the reasons I said and that in turn hurts the genre. FA is nearly 13 years old at this point and very few large scale RTS games have appeared since then. I'm pretty sure the requirements for FA where very high for it's time too, even now it's still common to have sim speed issues. Supreme Commander 2 was quite a good looking game from an art and graphics standpoint and was easier to run relatively speaking (as far as
High(ish) requirements and stability issues were definitely contributing factors. Larger budget would have helped a lot, but easy to say that looking back. I think the biggest killer for new RTS games is that they're compared to older ones that already have had years of support and far bigger budgets to begin with.
Should be included in the newest update if you own it.
Looking forward to seeing more info on it.
Go to Assets>Formations and then open the FlockerTemplates file. Max Velocity in it should change the top speed of the units.
Maybe, but there's not really anything in that update (that's listed) that should be making saves incompatible anyway.
It is, Sean mixed them up. Right click on Ashes in your games list, select properties, click on Betas and there'll be a drop down list with the different versions.
Think he's talking about Ashes. As far as I know, new updates will be incompatible with saves sometimes, so if you can go back to the previous version you can finish them off and then go to the new update when you're done with them.
A template system like Forged Alliance would be good enough.
I think you can change the victory points of a map by editing the MapProperties file in the map's folder.
A bit of a balance issue with the Unit pack + Engineers: This gives you everything the other side has other than the orbitals--but not the limitations. Thus, if you start Substrate you don't have storage limits, but if you start PHC you do. I really like the advanced quanta generators--the late game ends up with so many of them around, it's nice having them fit in half the space. An even more advanced version

Disable it in the mod manager and delete the files. Download it again and see what happens. It's working fine for TAG Utter, so I assume it's on your side.

Is this on Steam or GOG? The map editor works, but can be unstable.
Most balanced patch so far.

I've came across the Engineer bug lately too, not sure what's causing it. It's happened with amplifiers and turrets for me.
The maps and scenarios from Secret Missions were good overall, probably my favourite of any DLC so far. The Atlas and Tormentor have been useful additions and the Tormentor in particular has been fun to use. I'm looking forward to the transports coming, they should add some interesting strategies, will allow new possibilities for maps and make bigger maps more enjoyable to play. Will we be able to modify existing models in the future? Is the current radar system going to be pe
Can a dev confirm ? I have the game on GoG, and for the previous DLCs I had to contact their support and give them proof of the season pass statement from Stardock. I gave the links as above and they added it to my library. I had like a firm confirmation from the dev for this DLC. Thanks, Imarion
One of the developers confirmed that only the 2017 DLC was covered by the season
Hello, is it part of the season pass ? https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/481856/one-community-merging-the-singularity: And anyone who already upgraded to Escalation from Ashes now has an automatic season pass to the DLC for Escalation.
The season pass was for 2017's DLC.
