Hmmm...it's not there anymore. Weird. :notsure:

Great to hear you've caught the GalCiv fever! It's a great idea to take your time with your first game or two and learn the ropes. Once you know a little bit about how the game flows, you'll begin to understand some of the intricacies this game offers. Again, if you ever need any help just ask. We're all happy to help! :HOT: Oh, by the way, speaking of good sources of info...you should check out this thread from the Strategies forum: http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?BID=GS&id=9
I'd also like it if they'd make more minor civ logos to give the new minors some more character when they appear.
I totally agree!! Maybe this will happen in 1.2.....
Wow! Cari now has a Prime Minister medal! :D
Make sure you submit under your Player Name which is Robert LeMaster and you'll be fine as frog hair split three ways!
What is happening when you try to submit?
We are hoping to release a GalCiv 1.19 on this Friday.
:CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: You guys ROCK!
Sadly, it’s time for them to die.
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL Somebody should use that for their empire's motto!!!
Hmmm...just d/l AP so I might try to get in the Suicide Squad... ;)
find cultural insurrection silly and unrealistic

entire planet's population magically becomes human.
Because it's a game. It makes it more fun and gives a new dimension to try to master. These are very good points to make, but in the end the game was never designed to be realistic or accurate.
Try clicking on a planet and then going back to the viewscreen. It usually "unjams" the turn for me.
The galactic civ's espionage system leaves a lot to be desired really. When you get to a certain point and you can just turn it off. If you don't keep funding up then espionage should quickly disintergrate.
According to Brad (Frogboy), if you stop funding espionage the effects do wear off.
It's an alternate forum used by some of us. The Diplomats empire set it up, but many of us now post over there.
Just move off the planet and try again. It always works for me.
"Good" civilisations don't start wars. Even prem-emptive ones. Especially ones without any proper justification. And they certainly don't impose their way of life on other people. While pretending to do it for the good of the people. Sound familiar, anyone?
Apart from your blatant political viewpoint, we're back to the perspective thing. Do you think the Roman Empire deemed themselves evil? They certainly did evil things. They also brought about tremendous advances in s
tylertoo: You may need to register to access Mayito's walkthrough. The walkthrough is found http://diplomats.galciv.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=55 Here is what he says:
These are just few rules for the beginner players. Many of these ideas were created by strategist EBZero. 1-Start with a good planet PQ19 or higher (PQ= Planet Quality), when you start the game you click in your homeworld planet and you will know what PQ has. (if the PQ is too low h
Darn buggy fleet code
No, I don't think it was a fleet of buggys... LOL LOL Sorry, couldn't resist.
That happens in 1.13 too. Happened last night to me in 1.49.
Hmmm...0% taxes and morale is still going down? This not only sounds like excess population, but also an enemy destabalizing you. You should certainly keep an eye on your morale for a while. Always remember, you don't need to build every improvement available. Concentrate on getting some of the population off-planet and quickly increasing your morale. If you have a constructor sitting around, try to get morale resources. And increase your espionage to combat any enemy destabalization.
Oh, okay. That explains it. I haven't used the default name since probably July! LOL
learn to live without when you get to maso
Trust me, it's a hard lesson to learn! LOL
LOL
It's not cheating, but be careful. If you get too much money too early in the game, you'll get an Anomalous score (0 points when you try to submit). Keep your treasury low by spending and gifts!
LOL We're starting to fall apart!!
Theoden - e-mail on the way
Thanks!
