Thunderbird is email, Firefox is a browser, thats a pretty big difference o_O that would be the same thing as an Outlook Express skin being submitted to an Internet Explorer theme catagory. Unlike Firefox, Thunderbird doesn't have near the amount of popularity or demand, if it ever does then you might see a catagory for it. *shrug* I'm still curious on how you actually edit themes not to mention install them.

I just miss the little nuances, mostly on the users page, like bebi said, about seeing an authors skins showed them all displayed normally with pictures and comments etc. And when you go to My Skins, everything is a jumbled mess instead of sorted into catagories like they used to be, and they don't show ALLLLLLL of them, you have to go page to page, and I REALLLLLLYYYYY HATE NOT SEEING THE TOTALS ON DOWNLOADS AND COMMENTS AND SUCH. <img src="http://i

Piffles, let opinions be heard, good and bad. Real designers like critiques, they like to know what works, and what doesn't. And the rest like to talk about it between themselves, thats what these boards are for. No one's been out of line so far, just need to keep in mind "fixed" doesn't always mean, making it what you want, or that things will be "fixed" by the next time you visit.

OOOOHHH!! Fairyy, click on the "my account" tab, then a page should load with 3 main links in the page, the bottom one being "cross reference with your stardock account" that should get your user level equal to subscribers basically, and you should be able to rate and so forth. Wincustomize has to support itself and is not run by stardock, but they are affiliates and wincustomize will honor you purchasing software from stardock, and hence increase user
in my opinion views of screenshots shouldn't count as downloads no matter what, they're just there to display, there's no real skin being downloaded. But either way, I'm sure people are just clicking on the picture to see it instead of downloading, since thats quicker anyway. It's too hard to see just the little pic =P
First catagory "I miss.." 1. Going to "My Skins" and seeing at the bottom of the list TOTALS!!!! 2. "My Skins" being put in order of items, i.e. walls first, icons second, and showing everything on 1 page. I like the feature of choosing what library to show, but you still don't have this option, and it should be the default anyway. 3. Look up at the top of this page and click on wallpapers, or object dock, OH WAIT, YOU CAN'T

Dont but the book till you find out you're actually using it in class. I laugh at all the people in my class in the end when they find out only 1 of the 150 dollar ea books they bought was needed of the 3 they ended up with, then I laugh harder when the bookstore says they'll buy them all back for 10 bucks each.

art vs means of making it....the appearance is always important, but the means of getting there is another story. Take for example "presets", yeah....the models and shapes you found and use do make good art......THANK THE PERSON WHO MADE IT!!
