Thats not entirely true. On initial creation of the right hand links the current translation the OS is using would be used and this would be saved.

This isn't something Start11 can alter, whilst it would paint the icon for the taskbar when in enhanced taskbar mode (and only enhanced taskbar mode), it never paints the icon on the jumplist or provides the jumplist functionality. There are three possible reasons I can see : 1) Icon Cache corruption causing the OS to return the wrong icon to things that ask for it 2) You have created a shortcut to Teams which is using that icon. 3) A teams update (which happen
It sounds like you might be using a too old version of Windows. You need 23h2 or later.
Being on such an old version of Windows could certainly be a factor especially if it fails to see updates. If you are stuck on 21h2 you will get worse security support than Windows 10 I think. How did you even end up on that version as Windows updating from Windows 10 should be installing something far newer. The other thing to check is if something has stopped the Start11 service from starting. Finally do you have anything else installed to give you say a Wind
Those strings are the ones Windows used for those shortcuts on Windows 7. On that OS the text is displayed always so those are the help text in a tooltip. For the Windows 10 menu there is no text always visible so I can see why it might not be as clear and we can look to tweaking things a bit.
I've had a persistent issue that Chrome apps pinned to the taskbar don't show the assigned icon, so I decided to go back to the Windows 11 taskbar which displays them correctly. Although Taskbar enhancement is disabled, it still loads whenever I restart, hibernate, lock, and some other random conditions. This requires restarting Windows Explorer to get the Win 11 taskbar back. The condition occurs on multiple computers with both Windows 11 Pro 24H2 and 25H2. [
I would install beta 2.56 as it has updates. Also do you have deskscapes installed as we are aware of an issue with it blocking the taskbar until it gets a click on it.
Does it detect the clipboard contents and offer paste? Typically this would be a problem with firewall settings. The computer you are doing the paste from has to be able to connect to the other computer. So it would be a firewall issue on the computer which is the source of the clipboard data.
I would uninstall, reboot and install the 2.56 beta from your downloads page.
Ok, thanks, that might be the problem, I only hibernate my PC. But like... Why on Earth should I reboot the whole computer to just apply some simple app setting?
Restarting explorer would also do the trick.
You may need to reboot after changing that.
Came here from my post here as I've been having this issue for over a year, well before the "incident". I also encounter adding new posts taking several minutes to complete. Hopefully someone can find the cause as it's quite frustrating.
I believe the slow forum issue should have been resolved this week.
You can create popup menus pinned to the taskbar which can help.
The rounded taskbar feature is not compatible with vertical taskbars.
After deleting the Group registry value then setting DelayedAutoStart to 1, delayed start works, it also has the desired effect of not starting until everything else has already loaded in the OS. This could have been an easy change on your end without users having
Build 27971 is a Canary channel Insider release of Windows. Like every other company we will offer zero formal support for that OS. I would imagine something is incompatible with whatever you are using to display videos and causing an issue. This is not normal.
Well, I tried the full screen, and although far from what I was aiming for, it is indeed workable. But, another problem surfaced. The software makes my PCs crash in a weird way, which forces me to reboot the PC. I verified it was multiplicity that causes the crash, by unloading the software, and getting a PC to run for several days without crashing. If I load it, it will cause a crash while the P
What error does it display?
This may be a factor : Graphic card on my Windows 10: NVIDIA 930M 1 GB and Intel HD Graphics 520 (128 MB) I would imagine this dual setup is liable to cause problems on the primary.

Taskbar icons are having rendering issues and seem to jump / slide from side-to-side. The Start button disappears completely, and the Windows key on the keyboard must be used. Delayed start is purely a Windows OS level thing (it just doesn't start the service until later). Apps do not need to add in support for it so this would suggest another cause.
When you do the seamless display connection, does anything appear on the secondary computers monitor? You should see a fullscreen window open.

If you update to the 2.3 beta you should find the pinning works again for you.
