This has been added to the list to investigate for the next S11 update.

We have had a couple of people report something similar, but one had it with vertical only taskbars, and not an issue when at the bottom. Are you able to export your settings and send me a private message with a link to them as on a build here we cannot reproduce any issue what so ever.
I believe it is a known issue that Microsoft broke OneDrive integration with the latest windows update. https://windowsreport.com/windows-11-kb5094126-users-report-bsods-freezes-and-onedrive-issues/ I would expect them to fix this for the next Windows update. What are your UAC settings set to?
Is there a particular reason why you want 100% transparent?
I just updated a box to 26220.8680 and am not encountering any issues with tray icons. They can be double clicked on and right clicked on just fine.
We are currently looking into what options we can provide for this. It may be the best route is to implement a custom alt-tab as it would offer more flexibility over everything which might be more useful for customers than something which works only with very specific settings and with significant draw backs. So the best answer is watch this space.
Groupy must be installed in program files which would be on drive C in almost every situation I think.
Let us know if it prompts again. I had someone turn on some logging backend to see if there was anything unusual going on.
After installing v2.72, I no longer have a notification area on the taskbar. I have two displays with the taskbar at the bottom, and my left display is the main display. A reboot does not help. I have tried with and without the enhanced taskbar, with no difference in the notification area.
If thats not showing without enhanced taskbar then it is unlikely to be Start11 causing that. As a test i
If you click the check for updates button in Start11, does it say you are up to date? Also is ObjectDesktop Manager installed (is this an ODNT account)?
Unfortunately some drivers for sound chips power down themselves when there is nothing attached and basically do not do anything with the audio. This prevents our audio capture from working.
We really don't put updates out every 48-96 hours! I think something is blocking the update from installing correctly on your computer hence causing this issue. If you open the Start11 config window, what version does it say?
Also do both monitors share the same scaling setting? and are both always connected?
The first thing I would do is update WB to the latest version which is 11.07 not 11.04
This would typically be a firewall issue. When copying data from machine B to machine A, a connection is made from A to B. This is typically the reverse of mouse/keyboard data so a firewall blocking can cause this to fail. Another possibility is you have a tool on the secondary which is blocking Multiplicity from being able to determine what machine to contact. Tailscale is known to break this even when not in use. We are planning to tweak how we send data fo
If you press win+r and in the run dialog type shell::appsfolder do you see the clients link there? Does running it from there work?
On issue 1, if a file is in the clipboard and then something on the remote PC asks for it, Multiplicity is forced to send the file over. This is typically a shell extension or some sort of clipboard management app causing this. They see the clipboard has changed (as you have switched to it from the primary) and want to know the full contents of it. On issue 2, are you using wired or wireless? Also what is the cpu on the primary or secondary like at the time?
What effect do you have set on the desktop itself? I ask as the wallpaper seems to be moving in response to that slider but not in the fence areas which is also odd (you do have it set to combine effects under advanced?)
We will take a look at the code to look for possible failure cases.
I have confirmed that upgrading to Windows 11 25H2 resolved this issue. It was not clear to me as a user that Start11 required a newer version of Windows 11. If this is a requirement, I recommend Stardock make this clear to users during installation or operation of Start11.
It should work on 23h2 as well though that is getting old now. We still work on Windows 10 though. It
I updated to DeskScapes2026_26.0.1.0-j54-Setup yesterday and am still experiencing the explorer restart issue not starting DeskScapes. I have been searching the internet and my system for clues, but have not found any solution. If I understood what happens when Shift + Right-click on the desktop is executed, maybe I could narrow down where the issue originates. I will add that my setup has not changed from DeskScapes 11
How much disk space do you have on drive C at the time?
All my desktop icons are gone. The associated files in "C:\Users\UserName\Desktop" are also gone, including the icon for new program I just installed this week. So not only does the new Start11 update delete all the desktop icons, it continues to do it on a continuing basis. The files that Start11 deletes from "C:\Users\UserName\Desktop" contain important lists that are sorely missed. Pleas
If it continues I would recommend installing the 2.72 beta just in case that helps.
I've seen no follow up to this thread. To restate the issue with more specifics, it appears that with my current configuration of Start11 ver. 2.71 Business edition in Windows 10 mode, running in Window 11 version 24H2 (OS Build 26100.8037), that any time the screen configuration changes, the windows snap hot-key function ( + ) ceases to work on at least
